Baba Ratan of Bhatinda in Punjab who is said to have visited Makkah twice, and on both occasions to have met Prophet Muhammad SallalhuAliWasslam. Baba Ratan on the latter occasion, accepted Islam and then returned to India, where he lived on to the incredulously great age of seven hundred years! His name is mentioned by Ibn Hajar Asqalanl in his Asabafl marifati s-Sahdba and also by a'dh-Qhahabiin hisTajrid. The former ranks him as one of the companions of Muhammad. He is said to have died in 1234-5 A. D.and to have been buried in a place called Tabar Hind
