His clothes are soft fabric so I don't want to damage them or have bleach on them as they are very sensitive skin. The machine I bought from Amazon didn't came with instructions so thank you for this video.

It helped so much to HEAR the machine and see how it worked inside the tub. Though the motor sounds weak, the machine looks like it does the job well. I wanted one of these for my RV. This is a compact size that will fit. I am pleasantly surprised it can do 1.5 kg per load, nice! I think if I get a mini dryer as well, I am all set.

This is the best explanation I have seen to learn how to us portable washing machines properly, for the best results to get all the soap out of your cloths, and the correct way of adding fabric softener.
I wash, rinse and spin in the salad spinner, empty the soapy water, and rinse with clean water and fabric softener in the main wash tub, then spin dry. I found out that I was using too much soap - you should use less than half of what you would use in a full size American washing machine.
My back up washer is a twin tub. I love the fact that you can soak, wash, and manage the load anyway you want. Mine is a Panda. It is a bit more work but they do have apartment size automatics. This is not a lot of work compared to going to the laundry mat. I general spin and then rinse in the big tub, but as you say it can be done on the spin side.
A tip from my mom who used to use one of these when we lived in France for a couple of years. If you intend to reuse water, wash least soiled and lighter color clothes first, then more soiled and darker but take care not to use powder detergent and try to rinse well because powder is more likely to leave residue and it’ll be more noticeable on darker clothes.
@@igvc1876 I reuse the water for mine, the hose doesnt fit my sink and I have to fill up a gallon bottle at a time to use my washer, or use the shower hose if I'm using it at home as I have mine in my shower for drainage and filling since its easier that way and i just take out when I take a shower so it doesnt get ruined. Also, i reuse the water cause it saves money. I only reuse it if i know the clothes arent that soiled. Plus, I would rather save water as much as I can instead of wasting it.
Thank you so much. I got mines from walmart so it’s a little different from yours but honestly you helped me out so much. This is exactly what I needed considering I got a second hand version without a user manual. I don't have the exact model but mine is very similar to this. Really helped me figure out how to use mine.
This reminds me of the old-fashioned 'twin-tub' washers of the 60's-70's; amazing washers, and so economical. I think this little 'portable' washer would be great for small homes and for older people who live alone and don't require a 'family size' washer - I bet they are much more economical than the normal 'washer/dryer' combo!
It works in much the same way as the twin tubs of old but is of course much smaller and made mainly of plastic rather than the metal machines that were popular until automatics took over.
Crystal clear instructions my friend. Thank you so much! I got the exact same Twin Tub Washing Machine delivered yesterday and found the instructions manual pretty useless:( Thanks again

@@krebzz3166 That depends on what you are draining into. The hose should be a little lower than the machine so that it drains completely. @@optroncordian7863 I didn't know if it just kept spinning if you didn't open it or glided to a stop on its own.. Some machines like a dryer I used to have kept spinning even after the cycle or timer had run down.. In the case of the dryer I mentioned it would just keep going and going if you didnt open it.. I guess it was to keep whatever was inside from getting wrinkled without heat going? Maybe it was just broke cause that seems like it would wear out or be dangerous after awhile.

It took me until I came across your video to realize I had been incorrectly using the hose outlet for the spinner. Also, for anyone who drains in the sink or tub, tie pantyhose or a sock at the end of the hose. Water will come out as usual, but it will collect all the lint so it doesn't clog the pipes. Thank you for this video!
They used to make "suds saver" washing machines in the u.s. The machine would pump the wash water into an adjoining plastic barrel. You could pump it back for the next load. The feature was valued by people whos previous system was a wringer washer where cloths were washed a load at a time and wrung into the rinse tub until the wash water was judged to be spent. Those people couldn't bare the idea of using wash water only once. Lol. Things have changed.
@@prossylinda8343 you can find one as cheap as 150$ but i got mine brand new from my grandma inlaw since shes had hers just sitting in her garage for 100$ and I'm so glad I found one, worth every penny i spent.

They never show the part I'm actually wanting to see. The hose actually attached to the faucet. Several videos NONE showing the part I need. Aside from my own particular needs this video was beautifully made and very informative.
The hose that comes with this type of machine is normally of poor quality and will not fit a standard tap or faucet. Probably best to get a different hose that will fit your faucet. I don’t state a particular adaptor or hose that is needed as all faucets are different.
Back in the 60s and 70s. Hoover made this machine, same principal operation.. The hoover was metal cabinet and top. My sister in law bought one of these it lasted about 9 months and stopped spinning, making a banging noise instead. Let's take a bet ??? Who thinks she overloaded it ???!! Lol

Well explained and demonstrated. Thank you! For so long I was taught the second tub was just for drying clothes. Now I know it is for rinsing as well appreciated
I have a different brand of this type of machine and I like it a lot. I still have to wash queen sheets at the laundromat because I don't have a place to hang them. I hang the clothes on rubber hangers to dry. In the desert climate they dry fast.
Use a netting on tip of drain hose to catch more lint. You do not want plumbing problems, also add some vinegar to rinse cycle. It softens clothes and removes residual soap. The vinegar smell fades as the clothes dry.
Also, use drain screens on the drains in your tub and sinks!! I use these always even when I didn't have a mini washer. Amazing how much stuff doesn't go down the drain using screens.
I have one my landlord doesn't allow washer machines great machine I bought the giantex works great and I use a hose too fill it and there is no need too keep rinsing it over and over uses less electricity and less water doesn't do quilts or pillows for that you still need the laundry mat but it a great machine too have

Never used a washing machine before this is my first time so was so confused. Thank God I found this video, thanks alot. It sure helped out far better than the manual book that came with the washing machine. 👍✌
I have the same machine and I use it a little differently. I place mine in the shower and fill it with shower head it's faster and I fill it till full. I put soap and 7 shirts start washing and I use the whole 15 minutes. The water gets really dirty so I empty it and full it again with fresh water and rinse another 15 minutes, and when all the soap is out I then spin dry my clothes. Well it works for me
I just purchased mine and i do it the same way. I see on many videos that some of the clothes are washed once and the put in the spinner and i know the clothes are still holding dirty water and soap. I wash 15, do it again with softner and do it again with plain water , then spin.
Do they have different hoses that you can buy, depending on the many different faucet taps that are made now? This hose looks like a standard garden hose / standard tap, and will only fit over standard taps. 00:40

Excellent instructions. My drier part finally gave up after 15 years of weekly washing. I have ordered another one.
I've been using my machine wrong for almost two years. Now I know how to use fabric softener correctly. Thank you!
Please i didn't really understand the softener, please can you explain.
Like am i to add the fabric softener after rinsing or washing??
This man is a legend. I love this video and it was very helpful and informative. No need to go ask proud people how to use the spin-dry.
Yes, so far this was the best video, however no one has mentioned cleaning the filter since the instructions say to clean after every wash.
Thanks!!! I never would have thought to reuse the water, as long as no dye it’s great idea 💡
Thank God I found this. I’ve had issues using this type of machine..
How much is this type
@@prossylinda8343 you can find one as cheap as 150$ but i got mine brand new from my grandma inlaw since shes had hers just sitting in her garage for 100$ and I'm so glad I found one, worth every penny i spent.
I had one exactly like this 44 years ago. Used it forever. My mom also loved it. Even did my daughter's diapers.
This brand model isn’t sold in the states. All the same, you give excellent directions! Thank You.
One lady hooked the drain hose through the handle of a stock pot filled with water. Seemed to work.
Nice vid personally i rinse in a different way .i spin the clothes..then put back in washer after draining..add water and go through the 15min wash cycle again then spin..great little machines
just read me a bedtime story, could listen all night. hehehe
🤣
😛
I can read you a bed time story..
lol right?!
I soak mine first for half an hour ,it gets the dirt out very fast.I particularly noticed that it washes really well duvets and jeans.
Hi
I actually do a longer wash but just spring it for 40 mins and reset the timer. Works better than soaking as the clothes are being agitated!
@@edwardgraham5021 oh wow thankyou.
Who's here in 2024 😅
Me ngl 😂
Me😅😅
Thank you for this tutorial. Please help me as my washing machine similar to this one draining water slowly. Thank you
They never show the part I'm actually wanting to see.
I never knew I needed this video until now. Thank you for the in-depth guide!
Lol
I remember that. I had one in the late 70s.. I was so young. Now I have come full circle.
She loaded it lopsided. It happens
this is the first time i actually watched a vid from start to finish without skipping, why am i mesmorized by the spinning
Thanks for the teaching am getting my be next week.GOD bless you so much.
Yesterday I Purchased a new washing machine semi automatic so very usefull this video for me and my mom
Thank you,I have just washed my clothes with you and it's done well 😘😘
Really a cool little washing system. I'm retired and need more conveniences. Thanks!
I know Im asking the wrong place but does any of you know a trick to log back into an Instagram account??
I stupidly lost the account password. I appreciate any help you can give me.
@Jacoby Alfredo instablaster :)
@Joseph Braden Thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm.
Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
@Joseph Braden It did the trick and I finally got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thanks so much, you really help me out !
@Jacoby Alfredo you are welcome =)
I just bought one, thanks for the instructional video, it helped a lot, happy washing 👍😀
Thanks bought one for my narrowboat and the leaflet instructions it's not clear, this tutorial it's the best thanks.
Thanks for the amazing explanation. I do have an issue with mine, recently it doesn't drain out water, what could be the cause?
THANKS FOR THIS DEMONSTRATION... I AM THINKING ABOUT BUYING A SIMILAR MACHINE... I WATCHED A VIDEO WHERE A GUY DRAINED IN A FIVE GALLON BUCKET... THANKS AGAIN
Well explained and demonstrated. Thank you! For so long I was taught the second tub was just for drying clothes. Now I know it is for rinsing as well appreciated
Enlightened
Why am I watching this? I don't even have this.
😂 😂 same to me
U never no
TheAmberGryphon 🤦🏼♀️😂
@RODY BLANO 2nd option maybe
Me either 🤣🤣🤣
I love twin tubs. I don't have one - but I still find them fascinating.
Excellent video. I'm so grateful you took the time to show us how to use this device. Thanks!
I have a different brand of this type of machine and I like it a lot. I still have to wash queen sheets at the laundromat because I don't have a place to hang them. I hang the clothes on rubber hangers to dry. In the desert climate they dry fast.
I hang my sheets ir blanket over the 🚪..lol
Use a netting on tip of drain hose to catch more lint. You do not want plumbing problems, also add some vinegar to rinse cycle. It softens clothes and removes residual soap. The vinegar smell fades as the clothes dry.
Thanks
Also, use drain screens on the drains in your tub and sinks!! I use these always even when I didn't have a mini washer. Amazing how much stuff doesn't go down the drain using screens.
I have one my landlord doesn't allow washer machines great machine I bought the giantex works great and I use a hose too fill it and there is no need too keep rinsing it over and over uses less electricity and less water doesn't do quilts or pillows for that you still need the laundry mat but it a great machine too have
Thank you, I have this machine,an older version but I didn't know how to use it, this has inspired me a lot.
Just got my self something like this exactly but of Hisense company. Tried reading the manual book but the English is not clear. Never used a washing machine before this is my first time so was so confused. Thank God I found this video, thanks alot. It sure helped out far better than the manual book that came with the washing machine. 👍✌
Glad I could help
We have using my machine almost tow year but i did'nt even know about that
Thanks 😊
I have the same machine and I use it a little differently.
I place mine in the shower and fill it with shower head it's faster and I fill it till full. I put soap and 7 shirts start washing and I use the whole 15 minutes.
The water gets really dirty so I empty it and full it again with fresh water and rinse another 15 minutes, and when all the soap is out I then spin dry my clothes.
Well it works for me
I also did this it's very helpful for me
I just purchased mine and i do it the same way. I see on many videos that some of the clothes are washed once and the put in the spinner and i know the clothes are still holding dirty water and soap. I wash 15, do it again with softner and do it again with plain water , then spin.
Tinkerbell
Ok
.
Brings back memories, my Mum had a twin tub in the 70s and 80s.
😂
Do they have different hoses that you can buy, depending on the many different faucet taps that are made now? This hose looks like a standard garden hose / standard tap, and will only fit over standard taps. 00:40
They don’t offer different hoses and I had to buy a flexible rubber fill hose that would fit my tap.
Hello love this. But can this hook up to my inlet for washing??
