Absolutely brilliant. Since I first head it with the flugelhorn, I wondered how it would be on the saxophone. Now I know. Maybe I will try it out on my tenorsax. Thank you very much :-)
So I'm new to saxophone and is practicing with just the mouthpiece worth it because I can get a decent amount of time in doing that if it's worth it. I can't bring my whole sax to work but the mouthpiece I can lol
Nigel. I have a question to ask. How did you adjust from alto to tenor. I’ve been playing tenor for about 6 months or so and it hasn’t gotten any easier. I regularly switch between the two. And I need to play tenor sax for a lot of contests. Im out of ideas.
well your first mistake is that you are playing both sax at the same time. If you need to play Tenor then just focus on that Tenor. For you, the only Tenor that should exist for the moment is Tenor. I am learning Tenor as well, and as much as I would love to learn hot to play Soprano ,Alto or Bariton, my main focus now is learn how to play Tenor and that should be the same with you :).
Hi Samuel. I’m using some classic Beyedynamic DT-100 headphones. They are good workhorse headphones that sound great - and you can get replacement parts for them easily too. They’re kind of an “industry standard” I guess.

Are you sight reading from a music sheet or book? Sounds great.
Thanks Pete - I wrote out the chart which I use for my students in Sax School.

What are the headphones you’re using Nigel?
