Yes you guys are absolutely right. 'Ruthless' is the most apt way of putting this. I was thinking about some topics, one of which I want more discussion on, unfortunately no one talks much about this (even with the rise of social media and stuff). In connection to the above discussion you had, I would like to suggest this topic: Q. Why most engineers think of moving abroad rather than in India (especially for research career)?. Like, many of these also follow a typical herd mentality (going to US/Germany etc. per se), thinking that they will get a good life (or whatever that means). Also spending so much on foreign universities abroad, is it all worth it? I always see people comparing India with other developed nations, without even realizing that we are still in developing stage and need to contribute our bit for this country to improve it. Isn't it high time that we consider brain drain a serious issue in our country?
The worst part about competitive exam is the fact that cut offs for colleges are based on your caste(even in 2020) Last year in the NEET exam the cut off for general category students was 585/720, whereas for SC and ST it was only in 200s and 300s respectively. So the family I'm born to decided whether I can go to college I want and not merit.

Let me disagree a little with you here Ashish. Even Space Agencies like NASA need botanist and Plant,Soil Scientists to do research if they have projects like producing veggies in space or on some other planet, they do need people like them. So, maybe the person whom you were talking about his concern was right, not totally irrelevant. It's just ISRO might not be working on this as of now.
For bio people to get into space projects in India, there's something called IARC( Indian Astrobiology Research Center). Although it's not very popular now, in near future IARC might associate itself with ISRO if ISRO is thinking of conducting manned mission to space.

Views on reservation system of India, is it worth it?Asking this as being in a general category and after giving several competitive exams from 2015 ( started after my 12th) I am feeling like being general is inferior where the same individual who studied with you for years with the same facilities gets a seat even with a low mark than yours.
I am general category.....and I feel 50% cap must be seriously done because many states have 60 and 70% reservations also reservations are needed even today because many places still discrimination.....the real laws and economic support is not being given instead reservations are increasing day by day.....33% to general category.....not reservation but seats.....no benifit to anyone and more thinking of caste system
Bro finally for the first time i heard someone talking about this, these policies were initially made for equality and all but now i feel their injustice with everything started from fees to seats like everything that's so stupid what do they thing people from general category are rich or what ?
Dude u r telling opposite of what I have seen in Pvt sector according me in automobile sector the pay is very low some deputy manager is making around 40 - 45k only after his Masters... He has worked 10 to 12 yrs in that company.
The stupidest thing i have seen so far is seen about educational system is that fees of college are decided based on caste not your talent and merits, like if I'm from general category i have to pay 5 lakhs and if you are other prevailed caste then they literally have to pay half of it or more less seriously in fact these things should be based on merits wth is this
You are absolutely right this is modern caste based discrimination on general people like us who did nothing wrong like harassing other lower caste people but still we are paying for this that's why brain drain happened so much in our country
I woke up at 6.30AM to study.. Saw this vdeo bcoz it was in my recommendations.. Got demotivated😶.. Not blaming but i wish i didn't watched this vdeo.. My half day ruined.. 😬

38:48...this happened with me in my neet exam. I am a fresher....this was my first experience with competitive exam.....fear of failure....I also qualified jee mains....but though that was not my target. I was pretty calm while writing my jee exam. But I felt a hell lot of pressure in neet....and that's why I lost the game....fear of failing....literally gives you a terrible pressure....
Is it so that ,if a person is trying multiple times for a particular interview in any of the govt research organisations ..then the chances of that person being rejected increases with the number of attempts in the interview? As the same person is appearing again and again after getting rejected in the interview phase ..so does the chance of that person being rejected again increase that way in that particular organisation?
It's not true everywhere and even if you are getting rejected again and again then it means you are repeating same mistake or there's something wrong in your preparation and you need to improve
36:00 this exams are fair. You need to understand the exam first rather than start reading. Need to research about the exam, syllabus and he's or she's strategy for the exam. If the person does not do this and at the field or work person coudn't find the solution of problem which occurs in field. GRE ka bhi exam fees bahut bahut high hai. Ek baar try karne me bhi sochna padta hai. Sense nahi banta why the fees is so high.
Exactly😢
Initially it's high but after getting into a university you will get multiple international scholarship under affirmative law of the country.

Hi Komal ji and TORQ... ❣️
Hi😊
Let me disagree a little with you here Ashish. Even Space Agencies like NASA need botanist and Plant,Soil Scientists to do research if they have projects like producing veggies in space or on some other planet, they do need people like them. So, maybe the person whom you were talking about his concern was right, not totally irrelevant. It's just ISRO might not be working on this as of now.
Yes Aditya! We were talking about ISRO. It doesn't provide such type of jobs to bio people
For bio people to get into space projects in India, there's something called IARC( Indian Astrobiology Research Center).

This is unfair but since we can't control it, so we can put more hard work, that's it😊
I am general category.....and I feel 50% cap must be seriously done because many states have 60 and 70% reservations also reservations are needed even today because many places still discrimination.....the real laws and economic support is not being given instead reservations are increasing day by day.....33% to general category.....not reservation but seats.....no benifit to anyone and more thinking of caste system
Bro finally for the first time i heard someone talking about this, these policies were initially made for equality and all but now i feel their injustice with everything started from fees to seats like everything that's so stupid what do they thing people from general category are rich or what ?
Aaj PTA lga MADAM NE FIRE BOLA HAI...
Hahaha pasand aaya ki nhi😅
Dude u r telling opposite of what I have seen in Pvt sector according me in automobile sector the pay is very low some deputy manager is making around 40 - 45k only after his Masters... He has worked 10 to 12 yrs in that company.
That depends on the company. I ve seen BMW paying 60k per month to the interns😅edit- third year clg interns
Which thing ?
The stupidest thing i have seen so far is seen about educational system is that fees of college are decided based on caste not your talent and merits, like if I'm from general category i have to pay 5 lakhs and if you are other prevailed caste then they literally have to pay half of it or more less seriously in fact these things should be based on merits wth is this
Hey Sanika! This is a very long topic but you are right on your part😊
@@komalfire yaa that's true has it's good and bad
You are absolutely right this is modern caste based discrimination on general people like us who did nothing wrong like harassing other lower caste people but still we are paying for this that's why brain drain happened so much in our country

It's not true everywhere and even if you are getting rejected again and again then it means you are repeating same mistake or there's something wrong in your preparation and you need to improve
thank you 😊

this exams are fair.
You need to understand the exam first rather than start reading. Need to research about the exam, syllabus and he's or she's strategy for the exam.
If the person does not do this and at the field or work person coudn't find the solution of problem which occurs in field.
In this particular podcast many times my opinion is very different than you guys
