- In honour of my new book, Fearless, coming out this week, I thought we’d take a glimpse inside for this week's Closet Confessions and explore seven unique style personalities. From softly feminine silhouettes to rock-chick boots, I want to show you a few of my favourite outfits from the book. Plus, I’d love to know - which style resonates most with you?

Trinity thanks for promoting the idea that you CAN reinvent yourself every morning. I dress to suit my mood and the needs of the day so I try many styles. Boho one day, feminine the next. I feel like a fraud sometimes and often feel apologetic about my colours - but no more! Love your energy and your candour! ❤
I at first tried to tone down my style of dress for example I wore a white (Kerry Bradshaw net skirt) and for most of the day at work I heard ballet reference 😅😏🙄I just smiled as at the end of the day I was fulfilling my ascetic and being bold enough to go out and wear what makes me happy as fashion is all about expression 😊
This is so exciting! And so much fun! Dressing is an adventure of discovery, not a chore of non-stop negative commentary about our bodies. Trinny has made styling understandable and interesting. I am so thankful for her...
I absolutely love Closset Confessions. Before I knew that you were writing a book, I opened a folder on my phone and I have all the different looks.
I am old school and I love books. I am so looking forward to reading the book. My Son bought it for my Birthday as I live in Portugal I will collect it when I go back home.

Thank you Trinny. I love “more is more” and I love the outfit with the indian necklace. It is so me. But I live in a country that is quite conservative, so yes sometimes I have and idea od outfit in my head but not the courage to go out dress like that. “the FEAR”. I bought a leopard print jumpsuit and I took it after one week because of the fear that other people will stare at me. But then I said to myself I like it and I dont care about others.
So many of us seem to feel that way. Wouldnt it be fun to live somewhere where it was the norm to express yourself with your clothes, like London? They have tne best environment.
@@notaclue822 I think the traditionally grey and damp British climate has also contributed to their celebration of expressive fashion. Just look at David Bowie over the years. I can recall how creative the UK was in the early 1980s (forty years ago now 😮). Pop singers Boy George, Marilyn, Bananarama, Siouxie & Co epitomised this time in British fashion perfectly. Alot of dressing up to go out clubbing, with creative thrifting and DIY. Boy George had all these arty concepts of how he wanted to dress, and his lovely Mum would sew outfits for him.
I agree. Also after doing without during the war, there was a blossoming of fashion afterwards, with Carnaby street,, Biba, Vidal Sassoon, Twiggy, the Mods and all that. It was and is fantastic. You can see it in Trinny's eccentric side. I really love it.
@@notaclue822 Yes - Brit Fashion was exuberant and devil-may-care. Fun for all sexes and genders. Vivienne Westwood was one who epitomised the full flowering. Most of us could never have pulled off her creations. And yet her own personal style, colour palette, use of faded English fabrics, footwear and accessories - much of it seeped into mainstream design and costume. /Fashion is a bit like a language - and Trinny does 'eccentric British Boho' as naturally as breathing 😊
Congratulations on your book Trinny! I think you'll never realize what kind of job you've done and you're doing for women, especially those more mature ones, globally. It's not only about looks. It's about way of living and way of thinking. You change people's lives literally. Mine included. Always for better. Gratitude🙏. Buying the book of course. Looking forward to holding and thumbing it. Hi Trinny! Totally ❤ your channel/style/personality. I would love to have your recommendation on how to build a wardrobe, and by that I mean furniture. I am in the process of buying my first flat in London, yay! and will need to order my wardrobe from scratch. What a bless it would be having you showing and explaining how yours was planned. I see you don't have doors for example, if that a personal necessity or something you would recommend anyone? What do you hang and what you don't? Should all be visible at all time? ...So many questions :D
I'm a bit confused by this. Maybe it's reflective of my age (28) but to switch between these different "styles" seems to require a lot of different items, none of which are interchangeable. I'd rather stick to the genre that suits me best and build a capsule wardrobe around it, especially given the cost of staple items these days. I'll reserve my full judgement for the book itself and I appreciate I'm not necessarily Trinny's key market... For anybody that feels the same, I like Alison Bornstein's "three words" approach a lot and it's a really useful guide to shop by!
I am not sure what my "look" is - possible a v casual version of modern classic? I wear a lot of blue (navy) with white. I love my jeans/ combats/ navy trousers. Eg blue and white stripe shirt with jeans/ combats or Breton top with jeans and a blazer on top. The book has just been delivered I'm off to read it! x

I was just going to ask the same 😢 Surely we can order it and have it shipped to the US? If not, I think I’ll have to ask one of my friends in the UK to get it for me and send to me!
It looks like we can order now from Amazon UK but end up paying double the price to cover shipping and VAT fees. So ~$45 now or wait over six months for about half the price….might go ahead and get it now while Trinny is highlighting how to use the book with our own closet ???

@June-qy2np I suggest that 'British Boho' has a specific style stemming from their climate and distinctly British fashion designers from the 1960s-1970s. Trinny has been playing with variations of Boho for decades now. /The debate could be whether Boho has a different flavour in the US - West Coast and East Coast -, Spain, Israel, South America, Australia etc?
