By the halfway mark, I was BOTH half expecting AND REALLY hoping that you'd end finish up by pulling all the parts together and playing it start to finish! If for no other reason then to just show how all your instructive parts flow together.... Especially with the single G chord strum that ends the verse (@5:52 intro V into Chorus), to the first F strum of the chorus, those two parts are cut up right there and seeing that flow together correctly would have helped me a lot! I know this video is a couple years old, so I'm not asking you to change it or anything! I'll fig it out by ear. But maybe, just for future reference. Otherwise, it was an awesome, very straight to the point and informative tutorial!! Thank you for the help!!!
Thanks for your great feedback and it would help me a a lot to put together future tutorial, I can try but not sure where this video file is :) to modification. But I overall grateful that you took your time out for comment, cheers 🥂
Well, music IS my life... But, I'm actually grateful to you bc I'm actually learning this song so I can record myself playing and singing it (with my 6 yo daughter, Rhiannon or "Rhio", backing me up on the tamborine... 🤗) so I can then send it to Canada to be played in our absence at my Sister's wake/memorial. So, getting some good tips and REAL help, especially with this song, right now, is extremely important and means a lot! And, not having to sit through 20 mins of vainglorious, self aggrandizing like EVERY other video on youtube seems to start with nowadays is INCREDIBLY REFRESHING! You have no idea! Especially when you sit through all that just to find out that you are more advanced then they are or they aren't even playing it right themselves! No. You just keep doing what you're doing, man! No need to change the video. No need to change ANYTHING! It's really good! And being forced to figure out a few things on my own is just part of the learning process anyway, right? It'd be good for me!! Lol! Thank you! You rock!!
Now I just need a tutorial on that "Avett walk up" from G that he does a lot in this song and just generally polishing it up a bit bc I don't have the time it'd usually take to do so... Lol!
Subscribe! I love the Gap sweatshirt and inidan accent. I work in software dev on the product side with Seattle companies even though I live in ATL. Unless I go up 85 I don't hear this accent in ATL, especially East Atlanta
This is really great production for how little subscribers you have. I'll share it with my friends... I'm a bass player but everyone needs guitar songs for campfires in georgia
Thanks for your support and kind words, I try with full of enthusiasm for few weeks then I see very less differences in audience, which makes me a bit disappointed but after few months I get courage back and do it again :) this is how it is in the life as well :). I am grateful for your support again, cheers

I always struggle w hearing strumming patterns, so if you could actually note a down/up to start with, that will help me tremendously. Thank you!
