Hi, Excuseme but How do I install an amplifier that has front speakers, rear speakers and subwoofer if this stereo only has two pairs of RCA outputs and I need 3 pairs of outputs?
There are several ways to make this work. Here are two possible solutions. Many multi-channel amplifiers can split the input signal to more than one channel. I recommend to set up the Pioneer SPH-10BT RCA outputs, both front and rear, as full range outputs. Run the front outputs to the A channel on the Amp. Split the Rear outputs, and run to both the B channel and the Sub channel on the Amp. In this set up, you'll need to use the LPF crossover on the amplifier subwoofer channel. Also on the amplifier you may want to use the HPF crossover on the A and B channels. In this set up you will not have direct subwoofer control from the in-dash receiver. Another way to make this work is to Run the front RCA output to the A channel. Split the A channel input to the B channel. And the Rear RCA to the sub woofer channel. In this set up, you will not have a Fader Control from the in-dash receiver. Hi just purchased this item looks great haven’t fitted it yet but took a look at the installation instructions my question is do I need to connect the light green wire parking brake switch as there is no video screen on this unit or does it effect the working of this unit in other ways?

U had me from hello it is beautiful
Hello, Pioneer folks. My truck has only two speakers, so can I bridge the two "left side" speaker outputs to send all left side wattage to my left speaker...& same for the right side? Do I need to set up something in the radio to make this work right? Thanks in advance.
Bridging the in-dash receiver output is not recommended. This will result in "AMP ERROR" display. There is no setup operation designed for bridging the internal amplifier. Can you use the phone cradle with a case on, the grips look really tiny.
As for the other comment on battery drain as it will be using continuously, I might just use an old phone for the app.
You can use a phone in a case. Even larger cases, for example "otter box" case works with the phone cradle. The phone can be charged through the USB port of the front of the in-dash receiver. Depending upon the source you are listening to, for example USB music, try to Press and Hold the arrow right and left hard keys on the in-dash receiver to Fast forward or Rewind within a particular track. why can´t I hear sound from my rear speakers? It seems It becomes configured only for front speakers, and even making a reset I couldn't change it...
Please be sure to update your Pioneer SPH-10BT with the latest firmware. You can find it here: www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/Digital+Media+Receivers/SPH-10BT#downloads If this does not correct the issue please check the Fader Control from the Pioneer Smart Sync App. Open the settings menu and choose the Audio Settings and choose Fader/Balance. The fader control moves the sound from the front speakers to the rear speakers. I recommend to put the fader control in the middle. There is microprocessor reset button behind the detachable face. Remove the face. You'll need a paperclip or some other small point to press the microprocessor reset button. If this does not solve the issue, I recommend to do a System Reset. With the vehicle on and parked, Press and hold the Music Notes hard key until the SPH-10BT turns off. Next press and hold the Home Button hard key to display the main menu. Press > arrow right to display Initial and Press the Home Button hard key to confirm. Next press the arrow right > to display Reset. Prese the Home Button hard key to confirm the System Reset. Is there any way to keep the time displaying on the head unit and not the song specifics?
The Pioneer SPH-10BT is designed to be used with the Pioneer Smart Sync App on your phone. When using the Smart Sync app, the clock is displayed at the top right of the screen when in "music mode" and on the far right panel when using "dash mode". Switching off the source will display the clock on the in-dash receiver screen. Please be sure to have the latest firmware installed on your Pioneer SPH-10BT. I have a MVH-620-BHS & Motorola G7 android. When I switch from the USB source to any other source " radio or bluetooth" when I switch back to USB the head unit remembers my last song but the list on the smart sync app always reverts back to the first song on my list. Is there a way to make the smart sync USB list show the same as my head unit? Thanks for any help.
As of 2020 January, I'm not aware of a way to change what you are seeing on the smart sync app. Does skipping to the next track, or back, match up the app and receiver? Please note, the smart sync app gets updates and this may change at a future date. Please be sure to have the latest version of the app installed. Version 2.7.0 or newer. Hello, I have some questions about the product.
1-) Does it work with Spotify and Google Maps apps ?
2-) My car does have two tweeters on console, two speakers on front doors and two back speakers on rear doors as well. All are default factory made. However, I would like to upgrade 4 doors with brand new 13 cm / 5.25 inch Pioneer speakers so could you please recommend me ones that would work without having to have additional amplifier ?
3-) What is the USB quick charge output of the product for Android ?
4-) How to install a firmware update if it is necessary ?
5-) Can I switch to metric system from the settings ?
6-) Is the Bluetooth microphone only for voice commands or does it work with phone calls too ?

1. It depends upon what country you are in. It the US, yes both Spotify and Google Maps work with the Pioneer SPH-10BT.
2. I recommend Pioneer TS-A1370F. You can see it here: www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/Speakers/A-Series/TS-A1370F They are great sounding speakers and you don't need an external amplifier. Two in the front and two in the back. The amp built into the SPH-10BT will work great.
3. This means it is designed to charge modern android based phones. 5V 1.5 Amp
4. Check the version number on your particular receiver. You can see it in this video: ruclips.net/video/drZ3Uphj26M/видео.html If necessary, Download the firmware to a USB flash drive. In the US You can find it here: www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/Digital+Media+Receivers/SPH-10BT#downloads Follow the instructions to download and prepare the file.
5. Depending upon the country where it's used, Metric is available. In the US, metric and US measurements are available in the Pioneer Smart Sync App settings.
6. The Bluetooth microphone is used for both hands free calling and many voice commands. When on a phone call, the driver will talk into the Bluetooth mic. The remote caller is heard through the vehicle's TS-A1370F speakers.

As of 2019 May, no, Pioneer SPH-10BT does not work with a camera but, does work with Pioneer ND-PS1 Proximity Alert Parking Sensors. @pioneerelectronics I try to listen to SiriusXM and it keeps randomly disconnecting. I have to go back into the SiriusXM app and it’s paused - so I have to hit play. Very frustrating. I have the latest firmware and the latest app updates (iPhone). Any help?
Please be more specific with your question. What is the model number of your Pioneer in-dash receiver? What iPhone are you using? What is the iOS version? Are you using the Pioneer Smart Sync app on the phone?
Are you experiencing this same behavior on other apps on the phone or is it just SiriusXM?
If you use the receiver's Bluetooth Audio source, do you experience the same pause action on the SiriusXM app?

Yes, using the smart sync app (just updated it yesterday to the newest version).
Just having this issue while connected to the smart sync app and SiriusXM. (I’ve made sure that app was updated as well). It doesn’t happen while not connected to smart sync or with any other Bluetooth speakers I listen to through my phone.
Not sure how to use the receivers Bluetooth audio source. (I get into the smart sync app, click the 6 round dots, scroll down to SiriusXM app, it takes me to the app and I play from there.

The Pioneer SPH-10BT is designed from the ground up to be used with a phone to control the in-dash receiver using Pioneer's Smart Sync App. The phone must have a Bluetooth connection to the in-dash receiver, but it does not have to be physically in the receiver's phone cradle. If you don't want to use a phone to control the operation, a more traditional in-dash receiver may be a better choice for you. It is possible to select songs on a USB flash drive on SPH-10BT without a phone, however it's clumsy and difficult and I don't recommend it. The SPH-10BT is designed to be used with a phone. Very interesting. I'm curious how well the phone mount will hold up in cold weather that's when all of mine always break. It would really suck to have that phone mount break. Is it an easy replacement if it does break? And do you even sell replacement parts for it if it does break?

Why didn't you include wireless charging in the cradle and/or a USB port so that it would also charge ones phone; seeing as how the display will be on the entire time, it's going to kill the battery.

Gah, this is amazing. If the cradle charged wirelessly it'd be perfect.
The Pioneer SPH-10BT does not wireless charge the phone while in the cradle. However, the front USB port can be used to charge the phone with a proper USB connection to your phone.

Ignoring the 1 din/2 din difference, what does one lose or gain between this unit and a Carplay multimedia receiver?
The Pioneer SPH-10BT is not designed to be a CarPlay receiver. The SPH-10BT is an audio only receiver with a cradle to hold your phone. The phone is then used as the graphical user interface to control every function of the in-dash receiver including music source, navigation, and other options. Apple CarPlay is not possible with SPH-10BT.

@@tayler2396 You loose the appearance of Apple CarPlay and some of the voice operation of Apple CarPlay when you use the SPH-10BT with an iPhone. You'll also give away screen size from the in-dash receiver to your phone.
CarPlay makes it easy to send and receiver voice text messages through the in-dash receiver. It's not as easy with SPH-10BT but it can be done. Some of the source app changes you can do by voice in CarPlay may require a screen touch with SPH-10BT. If you're looking for voice navigation, and music from your phone, SPH-10BT is a very good solution and generally less expensive than an Apple CarPlay in-dash receiver.
CarPlay receiver's are generally more advanced audio products than the SPH-10BT.

@@pioneerelectronics Thank you for answering the question directly. It sounds as though the Pioneer SPH-10BT will be right for my needs. I don't think I'd miss those CarPlay benefits very much. My phone's screen size is almost as large as the screen on a media head unit and my phone has higher resolution.

That's an entirely different issue. If you turn off the vehicle, remove the key, and open the door and leave the car, and the in-dash receiver stays powered on, that means you have the receiver wired incorrectly. Focus on the Red Wire and the Yellow Wire. Do not combine Red and Yellow together. Red is for ignition. Yellow is constant power for the clock and audio settings. @@deckerdotto6035 I have a SPH 10BT and in the app there is a screen that allows me to adjust the settings for the subwoofer and the other speakers. Can you make a tutorial for that please? For now I keep all on "off" and I don't really know what it does because there is still sound coming out of the speakers, so its not really off?
