Oh my gosh Ellen, I loved your sea turtle! Thanks for the shoutout!❤ I loved your other pieces as well. I see you like sgraffitto and carving and you can’t go wrong with diamondcore tools! I own a bunch of them and they are the best! I just bought their new fine tip ones and I’ll make a video of it. Great kiln unloading Ellen!❤
@@anasclayhouse i agree with you Ana. Ellen is doing so great. She has her own organic style. Rough sweet and pritty. Im a big fan of Ellen. 👋 Bye Sheila
Ellen, i put this in English so every one can read, don't under estimate yourself so often, you make beautiful things and you have your own style, it is so Ellen. Really, your potterie is organic and pritty. It all suits so well in a landscape kitchen, cottage scenery. Well done Ellen! I'm sure your viewers agree with me. ITS BEAUTIFUL. Also happy your new scrafitto tools work on you. Ellen's Dutch outback keramiek. Liefs Sheila ♡
Little tip with the expensive diamond core tools- on Black Friday they usually have 25% off store wide and that includes gift cards. If you don’t need anything at the moment, buy a gift card for later! 🎉
What a lovely kiln unload 🤩 I love the garden balls you have carved, I have two diamond core tools so far and I love them too 🥰 thanks so much for sharing x
You’re doing so well with the scrafito! I haven’t tried the expensive tools but mine work fine so I haven’t needed to. I really love the turtles and balls! I also love the strawberries! When I have decals that have lots of pieces like that strawberry print I cut them apart and spread them out. I prefer the look of them spread out and it also allows you to use them on more pieces.
Hello michele! Thank you so much! I wasn't planning on buying those expensive ones too, but I did it anyway! I totally understand you don't buy them, I did not buy them for a long time. And a one time buy is enough! That is a really good tip spreading the decals out! I wil definately do that the next time!
Wow such a great kiln unload. We all have to start somewhere. We are then very hard on ourselves with all the negative thoughts. As they don't compare to an experienced person's work. But....remember you learn from any mistakes you make. Look at the positive and all the best future possibilities that come from each creation. You are sharing on RUclips for all to see. That's so brave, keep going. Remember we can't all make things perfect when we are learning and not professionally taught at an art school etc. I can bet you the people who are sharing and doing tutorials have been doing this for ages. I'm sure their first pieces at the beginning was not quite to their liking. Keep a journal/ pics of your progress, then look back and congratulate your personal success. Keep on going and take the good out from the bad. Happy potting
Sorry send the text already. I thought about you because I was cleaning some old cups from last year and yes you are right I did make a lot of progress! Really good to see! Maybe I will do a video about that one time💕🙏
@@Ellen.s.atelier I'm happy to hear. I can see progress on mine too. Being a beginner, I'm too fussy and want things to be perfect. I need to just finish pieces off and go to the next and not refining it to ultra smooth etc. I'm yet to start up my kiln, I'm reading the manual and it's a bit daunting. But I think most modern day controllers are basically the same. I've recently watched a couple of videos where people are filming the start of entering a firing schedule. So I can follow that easily enough. My Kiln wash is made and ready to put on shelves etc. I will film my first opening but it may just be the kiln and pottery without out me in the picture. I'm a bit camera shy, we see what happens lol. Happy potting

Oh wat lief van je Sheila! Ik voel wat je zegt, voel me onzeker vaak en mag dat echt laten gaan. Maar zoals je merkt is dat. Of wel moeilijk soms😊❤

Throw a bowl with a thicker base for your mushroom tops. Tri into round top. Is your sheep a stamp?
