D. Will in Utah and in Jersey was tough … gradually fell off in Brooklyn, but he had those moments for sure. I was a huge D.Will fan and I appreciate the guy for sure
As a life-long Utah Jazz fan, I loved Deron Williams. Not just the player, but he's a good dude. I honestly don't know all of the behind-the-scenes drama with him and coach Sloan, but there are 2 sides to every story. And, Deron was a young man trying to find his way in life. Sometimes we forget that players are human beings and at times do things they wish they could take back. But don't we all when we're in our early 20's? I personally never had a problem with Deron. When he left I wanted him to do well. I honestly do think he's still pretty beloved here in Utah. I actually wanted him to return to the Jazz to retire here. I wanted him to come back up Mike Conley & help us win a championship. I know that Deron had the chance to visit coach Sloan at his home before he died. I was very happy they were able to reconcile. At his peak, D-Willy was the best PG in the league at the time. I know that he's been through some tough things (divorce etc) but I hope he comes around the Jazz more often, perhaps even someday joining our coaching staff or working in player development.
One point he admitted it was the pick and roll and movement system that Sloan had. Brooklyn exposed that cause Brook and KG at that point couldnt roll like Millsap and Boozer
Always wondered why he couldn't fulfill his potential. He wasn't a party animal, was he? Cause man, raw talent comparable to the Iversons of this world. Great to watch.
No, he was a good dude but media would say things like he didn’t care enough about the game or didn’t work hard enough to be great. I just think injuries killed his potential but still was a great player.
Used to love this guy in the latter 00s. Fell off real quick.
Plkk,,,lol

I wish his game didn’t decline so rapidly

Interesting about Deron Williams: ruclips.net/video/FENkiFj6iXc/видео.html
I agree. It was CP3 or DWILL
For a quick minute
The dribble king himself. Solid solid player
Facts the original dribble king
Who remembers the d will and brook lopez pick and push play, only real nets fans now
It was so cringe watching him in Cleveland. I knew he was checked out
As a Laker fan I hated this man with a passion 😭 Great player
Looking forward to this
Deron was dif sucks that injuries ruined so many careers
Went from competing with a prime CP3 for best PG in the league to being rather irrelevant in a few years. Kinda sad.
He Strived well in the small market but once he got to New York seems like the lights were just too bright he couldn’t handle it
is it me these Deron Williams and Patrick Mahoanes sound the same
Lol definitely comparable.
Shoulda never passed his place with Jerry Sloan smh
He look like Odell Beckham
More like mike evans
He quit when he went to New Jersey
Brooke being hurt was a terrible loss
It’s laughable people would argue who was better between him and CP3
In mid 2000s they were definitely comparable.. no question now cp is better
@@bigp7644 Chris Paul was a better scorer
More assist
More steals.
Deron had like a 4 year window
@@tyronebriggs5721 youre just looking at stats at that moment when him and cp3 was hooping it was definitely an argument
@@don3201 yea for a 3 year period lol I remember even when he was on the nets people were still arguing and it wasn’t close
They were the 2 point guards for the redeem team (with JKidd of course). They were the 2 best point guards in the NBA for a 3-4 year stretch
The dumb comments and the man just said he lost his love and drive for the game!! 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
NY ate him alive 😂

@ScAnDeLeZ Chris iverson? 🤣🤣🤣
The 5 year - 90 million deal from Brooklyn was all he needed left from the game and his killer instinct on a nightly basis died.
