so this storyline is still developing and we'll see what happens with these two but what we do know so far is that the chemistry is off the charts, the angst is spectacular, they are very in love with each other and being forced apart by outside factors - it's A Lot to handle. if you want info on where to watch come hit me up on tumblr. (sorry for the absolutely garbage quality - the downloads are few and far between)
Show: The Heights (ABC - Australia)
Pairing: Ash x Sully
Song: Say Hello, Wave Goodbye - David Grey
Program: Final Cut Pro X - Развлечения
Ash to Sully: Please don’t hate me.
Me to Ash: How about you start by not hating yourself 💅
this is so breath-takingly awesome. you can feel the longing in your bones. You are a truly great vidder, I've spent these last few days watching your videos on repeat. Love your work
This was amazing!
I love that it’s Australian. I don’t even have to check, I know it is.
[SPOILERS]
But correct me if I'm wrong - Apart from religion, if Ash's brother just gave his support and accepted his brother I think he would have had the courage to pursue Sully at least secretly until he came to terms with himself. I haven't seen season 2 though.
This in itself (to me at-least) is poor screen writing. Ash's brother has a great relationship with both Ash and Sully. He knew that Sully is open about his sexuality and has no issues with it what so ever. So for him to do a complete 180 and show disgust toward his brother is so farfetched. There's nothing in the series to back up his reaction other than religion (which they barely dive into).
Al Ray it’s not necessarily poor screen writing. just because kam is okay with sully being gay does not automatically mean he’d be ok with his own brother being gay. a lot of people don’t have a problem with someone they aren’t related to being gay. they have a “it’s not affecting me or my family so i don’t care” attitude. but they don’t want their own family members being gay. it’s very realistic imo. assuming that the only way a character can be homophobic is if they openly hate gay characters is you not understanding the various different ways homophobia manifests in people.
@@psI6 i feel like its realistic. he might be okay with sully being gay, but with their religion i can see why kam wouldn't be as accepting with ash (especially with their uncle's reaction to walking in on them almost doing something in the bathroom, and how others would react at the mosque, plus being taught they should marry someone of the same religion and ethnicity). its a lot to come to terms with, and i think part of it is him being worried about how ash's sexuality could affect his future too (like for example, if ash/sully did date and got found out by his uncle, he's prob get kicked out, laila would stop being tutored, iris might not continue to help him out with work/study etc, and he might be told to stay away from his brother by his aunt/uncle). i do hope they have a proper conversation about it though.
@@psI6 Sully is not Muslim. Cam does not expect Sully to adhere to his own religion. Cam has different expectations for Ash, his brother and only direct family member. Ash & Cam's parents are dead, they are living with their Uncle & his family and Cam doesn't want to do anything that would disrespect his Uncle (in the eyes of his religious community). It is not just about Ash being gay or bi, it is about the impact it would have on their whole family in their community. I think Cam would feel differently if he and Ash lived life on their own and weren't beholden to their community. It is complicated.
@@psI6 I mean a people irl are like this unfortunately. They pretend they’re okay with it, as long as it’s not their own blood 🤦🏻♀️

Ash and Sully remain mostly friends. Ash leaves town at the end of the season. Last episode of the season 2 aired last week Friday.
@@lunalove9395 season 2 runs for the full 30 episodes, like season 1.

Season 2 Episode 7 I think
Es de alguna película?
Tv show se llama the heights
What episode is 1:50 from? I've been watching Season 2 but stopped at ep09 because they haven't showed anything pertaining to their story-line as yet.
That's episode 12. Episode where Sully starts tutoring Ash's sister for free. There was an accident where they spilled something on a rug and they tried to wash it and got caught by Ash's father and brother. Ending was kind of shyte tho. Ash went to iirc his muslim girlfriend? (or the girl he's being pushed towards) and it looks like he's putting effort to try to like her.
InCubbi1994 it’s not his father, Ash and his brother are living with their uncle, aunt and cousin
@@InCubbi1994 Ash's cousin. Ash & Cam are siblings. The girls are their cousins.
The ending of S2 was good imo, it felt like ash was exploring himself. No more will be said BC spoilers
@@lyrasunshard3769 I can see the season 2 till episode 8 in fmovies. After that I couldn't find any episode or storyline parts anywhere. Even if I wanted to buy they are not available in US. Any sources?
