Hello Chris, I apologize we did not se this reply only until now . Kindly extend our appreciation to Fr. Ricky. We are in Houston Texas. Although my daughters were gifted with singing voices I still trained them for a year . Just training and no singing . I had to condition their minds as well about singing to the ONE where their voices came from and what a way to sIng well back to God every Sunday so for over 15 years now they’ve been singing with me . My eldest started singing with me at age 8 and my youngest at age 5. She wasn’t reading well then so she memorized most of the lyrics. They have been doing it with me on their own accord and it’s been an awesome, fun and meaningful bonding God has given me as a father . With regard to the weekly psalm and Acclamation we always refer to your posted videos.

@@AnaSingz1970 I think my youngest was only 6 or 7 then in this video and my eldest was13 but they both started training with me for an entire 2 years way before that . I didn’t let them sing anywhere outside the house and it was purely training and instilling the right discipline and mindset about being professional even when you are not . Because if their schools and homework Their trainings were only on weekend ( Saturday’s and Sunday’s 4-7 hrs. ). In this two years there was no learning songs and purely trainings ( explaining to them the muscles in the head and neck and abdominal areas that play a role in proper singing and vocal projections . Although I they both had natural talents I still made sure they weren’t out of tune and being consistent . I’m not a professional musician or trainer and I only taught them what and how I was trained by mentors i had back in college and competition years. Above all , I most cherish the bonding we have been having since singing together each week. With no breaks for more than 11 years now . It is something I am truly thankful for. . It is just challenging getting them together now and upload more songs or videos on RUclips we think can also help others in lots of ways .

Right now po we are in Texas . I get to bring my daughters for vacation to the Philippines every two years but we didn’t travel since the start of COVID . I do mentor any one willing to really learn and put time to what they want to learn. As a Father I am just always doing my best in guiding and , reminding my daughters to make sure they’ll be fine when the time comes I’m no longer around .

Hi Rena, you don’t mind I call you that way . You have a beautiful name. Thank you for checking our version of this song. I sure will love to help you out on your request . I really don’t have a chord guide on this or in all our songs. When I learn something on the guitar I do my best to listen very well to the accompaniment and all the instrument notes in the recording and I do my best to as much as possible to do them on guitar . As far as I know the original accompaniment of this piece was in either an electronic synthesized kind of piano or keyboard . I kind of adapted it in the guitar playing making it not sounding to harsh or strong in playing . As far as my version is concerned I did this in Open D string tuning or as they commonly call it “ Drop D Tuning “. May I ask how serious you are to learn this ? If you are for the reason of regularly doing this in church then I will offer you a personal part by part video guide . I am not charging you for anything or any favor other than pray for us we continue doing this as family .
