by the looks of it, it looks staight up like an austar chassis, with a body and electronics "from" mn mode" From experience i can say it works, but it need's a lot of work...and i doubt mn model didnt do a think to not have all those austar issues.
Yeah, Austar/Injora's short wheelbase chassis with the horrible angles on the axles, ridiculous bump-steer and poor shocks, paired with a very poor servo, over-sized tyres and a pretty heavy body. It's not a great combination but there's hope for making it work with a bit of time, money and creativity.
@@rcpie absolutely true. If this would be used as a trail truck for medium trailing it will be enough. If you like to crawl easy stuff it works perfectly fine. But if you want more speed, more torque, you gotta have to spend money on everything besides the rails. Axles are a must, links will wear out in no time, drive shafts will eather bind up or even crack in some spots(got both of those situations). Gearbox will work for at least a full brushless lifetime. Let's play a game, would you rather spend more than $100 on upgrades or just buy a $250 RGT Wich proved to be perfecty working out of the box?
It certainly exists.. Whether that's a good thing or not remains to be seen! Upgrades on the way over the next months to try to fix the mechanics, the balance and the looks.
Nice video. It's a poor RC. In video I saw that you need better esc, servo, shocks, wheels, tyres... so you need to spent minimum 150€. The gears in the axles and gearbox are metal? If it's real a shorter injora chassi, it have metal gears... If MN sold it in kit version without electronics could be a better opcion😉 +1Sub🆗️💪
Thanks. It's not the best as stock but, to be fair, at the price I paid, it wasn't bad value. When you put in parts that have been upgraded on other trucks, it doesn't cost much at all, especially if you use a common transmitter. With a few mods, it's been a great rig and is actually one of my favourites to drive (that hard body fun). The only thing that has broken in 18 months is an axle shaft (£8 replacement).
Sweet review. Body still looks a bit off but might be fixable. Great review. Keep up a great work 👍👍
The interior and the details are lovely. With a bit of time, some paint and some accessories, it could look amazing.
nice mn999
Thanks
Do you know the full size of the truck? Axle to axle? Please
I'm away from home at the moment but if I remember rightly, it's a 275mm wheelbase.
I love mine it’s a good climber
I really like mine too, but only since upgrading it somewhat. It was a shocker on rocks.
@@rcpie I’m trying to find better shocks and trying to reduce the bump steer

Hello from southeast alaska
Hi and thanks for watching!
Is it a 1/10 scale?
Yeah, it is. It makes the "1:12" look tiny.
Maybe we need to measure them both and compare them properly with a real Land Rover.

@@rcpie I agree. With some upgrades you'll have a nice scale D90👌💪
