Starring Talya Çelebi and Cenay Türksever, "Gelin" is the life story of two people from entirely different worlds: Hançer, who gives up her dreams for her loved ones on the one hand, and Cihan, who has fire in his eyes on the other.
Hançer, who gets her name from her sharp gaze, faces an offer that will turn her life upside down. How in the world is there ever to be a baby? There is no hope when you have a man who thinks she is a gold digger and doesn’t want to touch her but demands a baby, a jealous ex wife who wants her gone, a mother in law who only cares about having a grandson,a greedy aunt, and a dying brother. If it keeps up the way it is going there will be no baby. Cihan needs to find out about the conspiracies going on behind his back, with Beyza, her father, and his mother. He needs to find out about Hancer’s brother dying and all his debts, he needs to witness Hancer’s greedy aunt tormenting her for money. Maybe then he will figure out she is innocent in all things and come to love and appreciate her.
