I have a question on PMS philosophy. @9:50 the second point is anterior guidance on working side, and the fifth point is group function on working side. How can you possibly have anterior guidance and the group function on the working side? Thank you.
Thanks for the query. The second point is anterior guidance is in harmony with [the eccentric positions on working side].It’s not about anterior guidance on working side. As the name suggests, Anterior guidance is the influence of contacting surfaces of upper and lower anterior teeth and not about working side … Hope you got the point 🙂
It was Meyer who introduced the FGP technique first, which he named as wax chew in technique. Here it records the pathways traveled by the cusps in border movements of mandible on the wax adapted on the occlusal surface of prepared teeth..FGP technique is discussed in detail in the fmr session 7.
