There's a book on L.A. punk, don't remember the title, but there's a chapter titled Pass the Dust, I Think I'm Bowie, now I know where the title came from! Misfits boot looked interesting. Richie, you should have your own podcast. Good stuff. Btw… I found a boot of the Misfits’ 12 Hits from Hell. Really nice. Great sleeve on a splatter gray/blue colored vinyl. The quality of the music is excellent. I can’t imagine a “legitimate” release looking or sounding better. If you recall, it’s a 1980 session that was supposed to get a record label release but it just never happened. Still a fun, cool album if you come by it.

Hey you nailed it with Temples sounding like The End. Or at least being influenced. Not sure if you know (but you probably do) Temples did a remix album to Sun Structures (Sun Restructure). Or in their “Deluxe” Album they include it. This is still my favorite VC channel! Be cool V.R.
I bought a Cherry Red comp from 1980 a while ago called "The Shape Of Finns To Come" and it is all Finnish punk/new wave stuff. It's honestly pretty great.

I’ve seen it a couple times recently and passed it up thinking it would be what the cover represented, a Bobbie Gentry type album like you mentioned But now after hearing your description I’m intrigued and may go back and pick that sucker up. That Temples record is good. The hype is correct - the cd sounds better. Kaaos is a good one! These modern hardcore bands seem to be going the black metal route with their weirdo words, black and white covers, and pile of sticks logos. Gonna have to hear this RAF. You don't hear about Omaha/Nebraska punk very often. Cool gifts and finds my guy! Cheers!
I saw 33RPMVinyl (Jeff) show The Feminine Complex this week. They are from Nashville! I've had that Sun Structures record on my wantlist for the longest time.
I have a copy of Feminine Hygiene but never really got into it. I need to pull it out and give it a shot again. That first Temple Sun was excellent, I loved that album. I was back to buying vinyl then. I preordered their next album and to your point it sucked. I guess they decided to go in a new direction. I keep pulling classic rock albums to trade in also, just not listening to them much anymore. Some of those groups a greatest hits is all I need. Go Lions, and also Jets. I heard talk that they were looking at Viking QB, Cousins. Probably just another silly rumor
If the Lions keep losing they may trade Kirk Cousins. He is leaving at the end of the season. They may want to get something for him. Do you have a copy of Feminine Hygiene or Feminine Complex?

Pass The Dust, I Think I’m Bowie is a funny album title. The Feminine Complex is not a Garage or Psych classic but is very solid.

Hey dude. Listening to Misfits albums always reminds me production wise of Motorhead. Everything on 10 and minimal treble creates a great atmosphere
