When my uncle passed away , i cried for so many days until after burial even though this song was in my playlist i never thought it would connect me to a part of him so when it shuffled played to this song i just cried so badly especially “and you werent suffering anymore” because he passed away due to lung cancer . And it just made me feel like something was twisting my guts and heart that he left us but he doesnt have to eat pills , doesnt have to to the chemo he hated so much , he can eat anything he want and not worry about it anymore . I love this so much
there's something so magical about seeing Porter performing in a full-band fashion. he was my gateway into electronic music as a whole, and as someone with punk/hardcore roots, this is just... perfect.
i just love how almost every single one of porter's audience is a dude. that just shows how his music transcends into our lives as lovely masterpieces to be listened to whenever we feel lonely.
the live version hits different... heck I even cried again, the amount of times I cried listeing to this song is unvelievable I just love it so much, thanks a lot for sharing the recording with us.
