Hi Cherry, the tax on groceries in my area is 9.95%. Your pork nilaga looks delicious, and I agree, it's perfect for a cold night 😊. I’ve never eaten cabbage soup but I do enjoy it steamed, or sauteed or in egg rolls. I would say I “like” kimchi. It tastes pretty good on hotdogs. Yours came out great!

Cherry, every time you cook for yourself, you ARE cooking for your Dad. There is part of him in you, and from the wonderful memories you have shared about him, he would be SUPER pleased and proud of you every time you cook for yourself and feed your body healthy food. Hi Cherry Pie ❤ great video. Kimchi is so good. I always keep kimchi in my fridge. We have more Asian condiments than American. We keep pickled ginger and also Wasabi because my husband likes sushi, so we make sushi often (not raw).

Hello Ate Julia! I already stored the kimchi in fridge and it’s yummy, I ate it with ramen last night. Speaking of sushi, last Sunday we had a sushi on Ate Angel and Ivy’s bday celebration. The sushi was made by our Thai co worker.

In Australia our employer pays the contribution into our retirement fund. 12% of our salary every time we are paid. And then in addition we receive the payouts from the investments that each fund makes using the employer contributions. And you can’t access it until you retire.

I'm in Kentucky USA, and there is no sales tax on food and 6% on everything else. Your soup looks good. I usually eat chili or beef stew in the winter. My husband loves Kimchi, but I have stomach issues that can't stand heavily seasoned food. But I make cabbage kimchi for him when I get the time. Here in Montreal, Canada there are no tax on essentials such as dairy, meat, fish, chicken and vegetables but for almost everything else such as chocolate, chips, clothing, restaurant our tax is 15 percent, which here in Quebec is the highest tax in Canada.
So high tax!😮
But it’s good that there’s no tax in essentials.☺️

In Hawaii, we pay 4.1% tax for groceries. Prices have gone UP in this past year. Bleh.😠
That's terrible. Here in Montreal, Canada there is no tax on food. But things like clothing, restaurants, potato chips and soft drinks are taxable. And here in Quebec it is 15 percent sales tax, the highest of all the provinces in our country.

Yes, I buy groceries on sale, too. I also use coupons. Even if I can afford to go to the expensive store, why would I waste my hard-earned money? Only if they don't have the item(s) I want would I go to the high-end store. I am not superficial. I go for quality and not so much brand names.
I pay 7.75% in the city where I live. I also pay federal tax, state tax, and other taxes as well. What is residence tax? What is that about? Also, I budget and know where every dollar goes. And I pay myself first, meaning I save first for myself and then bills. 😊

Residence tax is the tax paid by every person who’s working here in Japan. It depends on how much you earn. Hard to explain, but we as foreign worker can refund some of it.

Yes, I am a Filipina. Lived in the United.States since I was 17 , 18 years old. I have lived here over 40 years. I am more Americanized than a Filipina. But I hold a lot of values as a Filipina. Hi In Tennessee and (USA) our taxes vary by state and county. You contribute to your 401K if your employer offers it the amount is up to you and how much you can afford. Most employers have a match %. Some employers have a pension fund that they contribute to on behalf of the employee but those are more rare than common like they were in the 50’s 60’s 70’s 80’s and early 90’s. Some USA state charge a tax on wages however there are several states that do not follow this Tennessee and Florida are 2 I know. There are some state where there are no tax on food or clothing. Most states do offer a weekend where there is a break from taxes. It is generally announced and geared to help parents supply clothing and school necessities in Tennessee it’s usually right at the beginning of August.

What is Residence Tax for? Sales tax in my county is 6%, but it varies by county and state. My grocery budget for my family of 4 adults is about $175/week.
It's the tax implemented for every person residing and working in Japan. Your sales tax is cheaper. Mine is about $200month.😉

Привет, милая. Привет из России! Как можно потребителю платить налог на продукты? Налог должна платить торговая организация, которая получает прибыль. Мы платим налог с заработка плюс пенсионный, это 13%, туда же входит и медицина, налог на жилье раз в год, у меня на мою долю примерно 4-5 евро. За коммунальные платежи, воду, электричество, интернет и прочее раз в месяц. И всё. Машины у меня нет. А так ещё платят за машину. Я тоже стараюсь искать sale, сегодня купила баночку тунца, не знаю, зачем. Но она стоила около 1$.😂😂😂😂😂. Блюдо, похожее на твое у гас называют "Овощное рагу с мясом". Но мы мясо перед варкой подрумяниваем до корочки вместе с луком и морковкой, а потом так же с жидкостью готовим дальше. К стати, год назад я готовила кимчи их половинок капусты, целое ведро. 3 больших кочана. У меня получилось. Я делала с белым редисом, зеленым луком, все ингридиенты в интернете смотрела. И у меня🎉 получилось!!! Ой, Что-то много написала всего. Пока- пока! Хорошего дня! ❤❤❤
