Bernadette can be scary, but I feel like they really start pushing it here as not just a now-and-then thing, but that she's secretly always like that, which... I don't love. Part of me feels weird about Penny moving on from acting after one bad gig. Part of me would have loved to see her find success on a sci fi or fantasy show, just to stick it to Sheldon after years of him putting down her trade. But having been an actor in high school and deciding not to go down that path, I get wanting more control in your career. As for Stuart and Howard's mom, it makes perfect sense to me that they got attached to each other - Howard's mom has been trying to guilt people in staying with her for forever, from Howard to Raj, while Stuart has so little to lose at this point that he doesn't care about being cared for in that suffocating way Howard's mom tends to do. It's a match made in... something.
@@erikawilliams9558 No, I agree with you. But don't you think the Big Bang writers really leaned into it a little hard for Bernadette going forward? It went from an occasional thing that happened when she was really pushed to something that was always ready to pop out. It wasn't just that she was nice and had a temper, she became kind of meaner overall. I don't know, maybe that's just me - if she resonates with you, I'm glad! I do resonate with her being short and having to fight a little to get taken seriously myself

It's very true to pharma selling. They hire cute, young girls to flirt with doctors and bribe them to buy their drugs. They usually take out the doctors to lunch or buy lunch for the whole company. Some of the bribes come with free vacations or electronics if they sell a certain amount of their product or they'll receive a bonus.
