Waited for you to put this video up. I agree with you, it is amazing. I watched DTGs stream yesterday and someone said that they did not get the license from Northern. Not sure how true that is but it looks right with the stations. Thay didn't do a pre-order discount like normal, but I will be buying this as soon as I can.
I didn't get the route till release day so will trickle out more content over the coming 7 days am biased anyway love this route wish there was more content for it Class 47/8 is my favorite in it wish it was a longer route as well more industry ect loading and unloading needs more of that in both tsw and ts instead of just A - B scenarios yes I could be very bias I think it's a great route wish it was longer and more to do
@@SimRelated PS don't know about the license from Northern I know they have a group of people whose job it is to work out license agreements have heard that mentioned before in live streams but regarding Northern I don't know but yeah I guess it's possible
I am actually very impressed with DTG new route there are afew issues with it like the curves in the track going in to straight track when it should be a curve, noise of the trains. but adding the AP weather pack and the AP track enhancement has made this route very enjoyable + of course the the AP loco packs
I had seen mentioned about the curves in the track shame that it's slightly incorrect dovetail trains should put it right 😁, I don't know the track that well so it's something that I would not notice . Must admit the noise of the trains did raise eyebrow but was not too sure , and you're a legend with your suggestions regarding adding the AP weather pack and the AP track enhancement + AP loco packs am going look into that , have a great day 👍
@@wobblycaptain heads up AP hasn't updated the track yet on the route but have seen images of others that have done it them selfs the weather has been updated thou.
@@wobblycaptain hopefully AP will update the pack soon he normally does. but if he doesn't i am sure some one will do it. at a guess think they would put it on ats website

Thanks for that i thought they may have put the back unit round the wrong way. nice video by the way. not long had the route myself so still mucking about with it at the moment.some good scenarios would be great using up to date traction. those 142's well what can one say🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣....................
Your welcome , On the keyboard Ctrl + -, Ctrl + = - Change cab option also available on the mini HUD of course you may already know this but just in case you did not or useful to know for maybe someone else reading the comments. Agree on the scenarios need more scenarios on all the dlc would be great going have to check the steam workshop see if anything gets placed in there. Not your favorite then the 142s 😂 I

Great video and I love the 142 as I spent so many years travelling in them on this, my local line. One thing I can't figure out though is the doors. I open them but do they close automatically (i.e. the guard closes them)?
Yes your right they do , I failed to switch them on in the video 🙄, to switch the rear red tail lights on the train in the video Class 142 you have to move to the rear cab and where the light switch is rotate it to tail lights then move back to the front of the train and put the front lights on they do work it's just knowing how to do it which very often the game may not explain clearly enough if at all .

By the way, watched a video on the Armstrong Powerhouse 142 and it looks even better with cab 'nod' and all sorts of other goodies.
How do you pan around in the driving cab and carriages? Cant seem to do it. I only have zoom in/out options.

I thought trains were suppose to have red lights at the back......... Not to sure how you acheive this when the switches dont work..............
