From a teachers point of view. It is hard to go back as you never feel properly rested. After the kids leave you have another 1-2 weeks worth of working then you tend to start 1 -2 week before the kids come back to set up the classroom and plan the year out. Ofc it depends on the country but since you've been working 80h a week for the rest of the year a month of holiday in the summer isn't enough lol
Why & how are you working 80 hours a week?! I used to work 60-70 hours a week when I had to work 7 days a week, 10 hour days, or 6 days a week, 12 hours a day, @ a factory, (no breaks at all!) & I could barely function! I cant imagine 80 hours a week!?! Evem though its not as physcially exhausting as a factory, still..
"It's not fall yet" says ME. loathe summer so fall decor starts in my planner in August. 😂😂😂 My home fall decore is out, the fall candles are going, and I'm praying the Ohio weather soon changes.

I’m a retired lunch lady. Our teachers and lunch ladies go back to school tomorrow. Lunch ladies will be cleaning their kitchens and getting groceries. The first time getting groceries is a huge deal. You have to get everything. I wish a great year for all the kids, teachers and lunch ladies.

Anyway, that Posh Academy sticker book is so cute!!! I just wish there was a school sticker book with Homecoming in it because Homecoming is massive at my school (float building, a parade, daily assemblies for a week for all the competitions like lip synch and obstacle courses) and I've never been able to find a single sticker book with Homecoming stickers!

Very cool, “Back to School” spread! Love when you get excessive! The bold black washi is perfect with the colors in this spread, esp with the pink. The pink gives that little pop with the black and kind of pastel colors. I think this is the most decor you’ve ever done on a spread! Love it!!! Purchased the sticker books and the washi with your affiliate link. You sound great. Happy you have started back dating. Didn’t hear your stomach growl but I bet it was saying, “More Mediterranean Food, Please” 😂❤!!! Have a question for you about planners. Have you ever tried a Hobonichi Cousin A5? What planner would you use for mental health journaling using both decor and writing? Thanks for any suggestions you can think of!
Jessica's books are my favorite but I'm passing on both this year because she is so late putting them out. Fall needs to come out at the end of July or very beginning beginning of August. Rongrong, Plaything, and KOAP all put out fall much earlier. Also, Back to School spreads are done and gone as many kids started back weeks ago. I'm writing to Jessica to request she consider adjusting her release dates for 2025 - I can't be the only one that feels it's too late for these. Despite all that, these are ADORABLE and I'm sad to miss out. 😢 ❤
I should also acknowledge that I know Im maybe unusual as I plan WAY ahead in my planner. I'm done through Mid- September already. So that also drives my purchase of seasonal books earlier too. In my defense, I travel about 50% of the time for work so I plan ahead out of necessity. I know I'm probably not the norm. ❤❤❤

Never tried hobonichi! Any layout is great for journaling but I guess traditional journaling is best in a horizontal
