its been so many years since i played this. what was the maximun players before? wasnt it 24 p before? i feel like there was alot back then
@@naz2531 It was always 12 before. After Reforged i am not so happy that they actually went out to update it....because they ruined it with Reforged

It seems like no matter how big the game is, the skirmishes are always 1v1 or 2v2. I was hoping this would have an epic 12v12 battle right in the middle of the map that almost crashes wtii's computer. Like there are so many units on screen that the frame rate commits suicide.
I think that just the nature of total war, whether in games or real life, thats there are multiple battles raging all across the map until one side gain enough advantage to overwhelm the opponent instead of just one massive battle.

12 vs 12 Melee is too chaotic and imbalanced for me. But 24 player minigames are going to be great!

where do you guys even manage to find people to play with......I've been to wc3 battlenet and its dead as fuuck...

Unfortunately, 24 players on these maps would mean more crashs and longer wait, doesn't mean there cant be new 1-3 factions or something.
It would work if the food cap for every player was 100 food and every unit would cost 3-4. And that kinda defeats the point of those maps. They would however benefit from the map editor changes.
Well maybe Blizzard will fix those bugs? Anyway I think reducing the number of units you can own in those maps would actually make them funnier because you wouldn't be able turtle up and mass units then rekt someone while they're fighting someone else. I would like to see 24 players RISK though.
But Blizzard is working to fix those, I think we all know about the fix regarding too many units on screen at once AND too many units moving and fighting at the same time. That should allow 24 player Azzy/LTA/LTF and especially spawn based maps with as high as 999 food limit
Since the primary problem was the fact that maps couldn't be this big without narrowing everything down, now the maps can be way bigger, and the game can support way more unit movement without lagging as hard.
As for Crashes themselves, i believe they're going to fix that as well, although that might not be coming right away. But i say we should still be hyped for at least 16-20 player maps : )
Yessss! Also Coming of the Horde, all LOTR classics as well, such as WOTR, BFME, WOTJ, second age, Helms deep, etc., have so much potential.
Watching the 12 vs 12 played out seems quite epic , but i doubt its any more fun when playing it . Its such a stressful situation to deal with so many enemies at once while trying to not be the first to die out .

They don't have anything that would normally stack to infinity like fl.
@@Weigazod the skill that terrorize nearby huge army of enemies making their attacks lower depend on what level pitlord skills at, and pitlord another skill gives additional damage to nearby allies helps a lot too and fire rain gives pressure to enemy flying unit and archers when they're together and the demon he summons help at combat also and with 24 players fighting pitlord help giving pressure to enemies which an absolutely good strategy even without stacks like firelord does it still a nice strategy.

guys join the PLA not to "serve honor" lmfao but to get into the power structure of the government. there are guys who became millionaires and run billion dollar multinational corporations owned by the PLA by joining the "army" Mao himself came to power as a local army commander, long before he was a political figure. same with Chiang on the KMT.
beyond ignorance of the basic social political and economic realities of China's PLA you have an abject FAILURE of knowledge on the MILITARY side as well
China's army has a little over 2 million soldiers in a nation of over 1.4 BILLION. that's 2 in 1,400 or .14% In contrast EVERY KOREAN MAN IS A SOLDIER. I know we have a lot of millennial snowflakes on here who have had critical thinking and basic logic beaten out of them in school but military REALITY isn't dictated by GOARMY commercials on TV or what you WANT to be but what actually is. the size of a military has to do with what the EMPIRICAL NEEDS are. SK needs conscription because across the DMZ the North Korean have over 9 million men under arms. the ONLY way to counter those numbers is through the draft.
and beyond that one of the key reasons for mandatory service is a long reserve duty that every Korean man through his 30s serves. that means if the NK invade along with unforeseeable millions of Chinese, Russian, troops or whoever, every Korean man is a warrior who can pick up a rifle, organize under the military and defend his homeland. there is NOTHING analogue to that in a merc/volunteer force. there is no other modern nation on Earth like this: mandatory service in Korea has existed now for 3 generation and literally every Korean man is a warrior. every Korean man save the small percent physically unable from 20 to 80 knows how to fire a gun and can defend his country. this is especially pertinent in Korea because like the last Korean war a war in Korea would be a TOTAL WAR. the ENTIRE COUNTRY from top to bottom would be the warzone. during Korean War 1 literally 90% of the Korean population was displaced. the fighting occurred from the Yalu all the way down to the Pusan Perimeter. the scope and numbers cannot be fathomed by the average snowflake, in context that is FAR beyond even the number of Jews directly affected by WWII. in case of war the entire peninsula would be in arms and every Korean man would be defending it.

@@czolgistta warcraft 3 was (and still is) a unique kind of game, it has character, timeless gameplay, and was made by people who loved and cared about the franchise. Modern wow feels tasteless, bland and generic, lore makes no sense and the overall quality has lowered over the years

13:10 extra mortar coming up that would have killed the main if you just targeted main. Instead he runs by the other archers and starts firing at something else. The damage would have been enough.

He said its a player made map, could be map editor, you can increase the max number of player there.
Great game, but I have to say I am really not happy with what Blizzard did to the purple and light blue color. The former looks too much like a violet, and the latter more like a cyan--nothing like the originals (especially purple, since the original was a royal/dark purple color). :(

How do you queue or find a group for big games like this?
Go to the custom games list or ask in a channel with enough people and hope there are enough to play, there probably aren't anymore
