If that was snap-on you'd have to throw a couple extra zeros on that price tag 😂. I got the smaller craftsman 216 piece versa stack for 100 bucks (50 off regular) and could not be happier. Really nice set bro 💪
The problem I have with these tool sets is they usually include a lot of stuff you don't need and stuff they'd never sell individually to jack up the price and tool count. SAE sizes are basically pointless these days, except for maybe spark plug sockets. Also, they're usually missing stuff you actually do want or have size skips. When I was first starting my tool collection I bought a set like this, but ended up having to go out and buy a bunch of individual wrenches and sockets to fill in the gaps. Cost me more in the long run than if I just bought everything individually.
Good video bro, I think it is a reasonable set for the price you got. I do think they could've added far more wrenches to the top including fuel line wrenches. Hell I think they could've put a full set of medium length wrenches on the top tray and a full set of shorty's inside of the cover. I feel like they used the bit sets to inflate the piece number.
I bought that same set back in 2017 and it’s very useful! It was 75% off at the sears where I live but I waited to long then it went up to 50% off and I bought it before it went back to full price

I use this as a "road call" set up and take it with me when I have road calls at work. Overall decent. Slot of fluff included though. Has to be 200 little bitts in there. My job gave it to me for free, not sure if id spend $400 + on this. Probably better off buying a tool bag and going to harber freight tbh.

Ace Hardware's policy on Craftsman is not as generous as Sears was; I had a 150 piece set I bought at Sears in 2004, and after about 10 years of sitting in the trunk of my car, some of the tools were rusting and in 2015 I took the set into Ace since all of my local Sears stores were closed and asked if I could trade for an equal or similar sized tool set, and the store manager said No, they will only replace Craftsman tools if they were sold at an Ace store and with a receipt too... I was pissed and frustrated to say the least, so I told her, I will never buy Craftsman tools at Ace, and I left the store...
