as a usps delivery driver myself I can confirm that it is possible to sometimes mix up packages and drop them off at the wrong door. bc I myself along with plenty of others i work with have done it as well maybe one or twice. some days at the post office or at any delivery place in general can be overwhelming and very heavy load days and it’s can get confusing at times and then you have to double back oh bc you either forgot a package or you dropped off the wrong package at the wrong house/apartment. so that happens
