Thanks for explaining the deal with Mount Rushmore. As someone who doesn't live in America I never understood the backstory to the mountain.
MY personal Mt. Rushmore :
Birth - Stone Cold. As a 90s baby, the attitude era is what drew me into watching pro wrestling. The idea of beating up your boss and his family, and being gifted a championship, intrigued me.
Growth - The Rock. He was my generations Hulk Hogan. He is criticized for going to Hollywood, but it made his character and the WWE much bigger globally in doing so. We as fans can understand that WWE isnt just a t.v show. Its a whole machine.
Foundation - John Cena. He is the back bone of the 2000s and has led the company in a "superman" like way for awhile. His Make A Wish contributions to sick & dying children, his Never Give Up mantra that inspires all ages, and his love & respect for our service men & women have gained our appreciation worldwide.
Preservation - The Undertaker. Nobody has been more committed to keeping the art of kayfabe alive through a character more than the deadman. On paper, his character should have fizzled out being hard to book over time. But the longevity of being able to stay within his gimmick, should be the benchmark for younger talent trying to find & commit to their character.
Sammy Leave-It-In-Muffins, getting exasperated at the emails, is one of the best parts.
I really hope this wyatt 6 stuff is amazing and ppl really get behind it

Hikuleo contract is done in 2 weeks. Wwe has wanted him and now with his brothers here 99% hes here mid june. Phantasmo is working on Handshake. He is awesome
Wrestling logic has needed a complete reset for decades, hopefully this is a concerted effort to reboot things like outside interference by adding actual repercussions, or as Sam mentioned, just making sure the characters are aware of what is happening each week. Small things like adding instant replay review at PLE's to prevent a bad finish - void the ref decision and reset. That way, when a heel actually does get away with cheating in a clever way, it gets twice the heat. You can still attack people before or after matches, but during the match should be held to a slightly higher level of legitimacy. At least if wrestling wants to continue presenting itself as a sport, it really should have removed the randomness of anybody being able to get involved at any time, for any reason with the decision being final. Knock out a ref, match over - followed by a suspension. Things like that. Then when a ref gets attacked, it is actually a shock that a heel would go that far. As it has been for 50 years, you can kinda do whatever you want so frequently, that babyfaces almost look dumb for playing by rules that aren't even enforced or rewarded. Its not cheating if there is no punishment, its just expanded rules. The idea that you can put someone through an announcers table, then just roll the victim back in the ring has always been cringey to me.

Mount Rushmore correction: Teddy Roosevelt wasn't responsible for the New Deal. That was FDR. Teddy Roosevelt represents development due to achievements like building the Panama Canal.
Cody/Logan is definitely ending in a no-contest or DQ. Its just a way to put two unrelated characters together to branch them off again by introducing a new threat.
Maybe uncle howdy will come and ruin the match!

Every time I bring it up though there is always someone that points to a older interview he did where he said he hated being a babyface and he never wants to play one again... I've not seen this interview but if it's true... How likely do ya'll think it is that he will come back as a babyface... I genuinely despise the canvas where stories are told, being ruined smeared with any advert.
Im a week late, and we have the context from this last Friday that Cody and Logan will not be doing title for title, but i wish they were. I don't see it as Cody being greedy to want that belt or for WWE to be pushing Cody too hard, but instead to just stick it to Logan. What Cody said on Friday about Logan being a tourist in the industry was very potent. I could've seen it being a title for title match, only for Cody to drop the US title so someone who deserves it could pick it up. Logan is a spoiled, bratty cheater with no respect for the industry he's in or the meaning of the belt he has. I can absolutely see cody being humble enough to know what he deserves from the work he's done. He earned the World title from the work he's put in. He hasnt gunned for the US title. But i could see him throwing it back into rotation for someone who is a fan of what they do and puts the work in to earn it rather than buy and cheat their way to the top. But, I am biased and despise the Paul brother's. So maybe my opinion is a bit clouded.
If titles on the line, im hoping someone comes in and causes a disqualification whether the Rock or Uncle Howdy or Nick Aldis or someone. Dont want to see both titles on Cody.
