I’m so glad you enjoyed A man Called Ove. It was one of my favourites last year ! You really grow to love Ove and the shock I got at finding out he was trying to out himself! Ahh broke me
The original film for A Man Called Ove (En man som heter Ove) is actually Swedish and came out in 2015! I do recommend that one 🥰 haven’t seen the American one!
Yes we back again also started reading books/manga so will let you know how it’s going and will try some of your recommendations. Love your videos and of course got love for you. Much love coco
You should definitely watch the original Swedish movie of A Man Called Ove! I'm Scandinavian myself and no hate to Tom Hanks but there's just something about Backman's humor and the whole Swedish society that doesn't translate well into American cinema...
if you want to read more Fredrik Backman, I would recommend ‘And every morning the way home gets longer and longer’. It’s a short novel but it’s absolutely beautiful and had me sobbing by the end!! I gave it 5 stars and I still think about it all the time💜just make sure to check trigger warnings for it!!
@@Simone-i8h hi 💗🫶🏼 i’m super lazy!! i use shea moisture when i can afford it and then cantu if i can’t. but i just shampoo, condition (leave in) and then SOMETIMES an oil or curl cream xx
Watch the film to A Man called Ove. It’s so sweet, heartwarming, funny and sad, everything the book was. Tom Hanks does a good job in it. As for Summer by Ali Smith, I felt the exact same way. I didn’t get it, I wasn’t enjoying it, and DNF’d it. I don’t understand all the hype around that one.
@@miel_d_abeja oh really, so you thought it was a good movie! and ikr it was such a disappointment, i think it was one of those series hyped up by the industry more because of how it was written rather than if it was actually good…
hey lovely, currently reading No Name in the Street by James Baldwin. trying to make my way through canon American black authors from the 20th century. really enjoyed your video, hope you're well ❤
Hello! 🤗 loved this video as always… I’m really into japanese novels lately… finished btcgc (tempted to read all the sequels), currently reading heaven (loving so far), got few more in my tbr! do you like japanese novels? any recs plz? take love big sister 💗
I didn't enjoy the Ali smith books either. I finished Autumn and it was just meh, I didn't get the hype. Winter was a dnf for me. I have since tried to read another of her novels and I couldn't get on with that either.
i know people only recommend books they think u will like . ummm so “cats cradle “ is a book i think u will dislike 🤓. im really curious to see what you think about it cause i feel it will be too mundane to you. let us know if you ever pick it up hahaha. ps i also didnt like it lmaoo
ali smith is a flop for me 😭 i recently read her novel, the accidental (in my latest summer reading vlog) and i hated it. i find her very boring and pretentious… the quartet is one series i never want to read either
FINALLY you read a man called ove. Im glad u liked it a lot . Its one of my favourite books of all time.
