My first real exposure to this track what when I was vibing on my E-Drums while auto play was on. And OMG THIS WAS SO FUN!!1!1! I switched to a break kit during the middle and it did not disappoint. There is so much room to improvise and it keeps getting better and better the more I memorize
The fact it fits in with the lore as well as makes you somewhat think about what classifies somethings soul as auric, either an auric soul is a mass of purr energy or the embodyment of someone’s will to do more and be more made into form

I'm not even sure what this thing looks like. A slime with a skirt? is it vaguely humanoid? Or does it look more like a Cthulhu head, like the Lunatic Cultist's Ancient Visions? But then what's with the tentacles out the bottom? Is the flowing slime curling around it a tail, and if not, where is it coming from? This is truly a formless entity.
the basic idea is that jellyfish are evolved slimes from an evolutionary standpoint, since jellyfish are pretty much the same thing as slimes but with tentacles. the "tail" is supposed to be an umbilical cord while Goozma's roughly bean shaped head is supposed to be like a fetus. Also royal crown and dress.
I like the remixed theme of astrageldon at 0:20 not familiar on calamity lore so this might be for a story reason, but i just noticed it and thought it was cool
I just realized that Goozma's so strong not just because it wields the power of the evil biomes, but also the ores. Bloom Slimes have uelibloom ore in them, Astral Slimes have astral ore in them, etc. If there were Auric Ore slimes this would make even more sense.
He's strong because he's the combined force of all the slimes in the Terraria world at minimum. All absorbed and compressed into this being, like a star going critical. It's like millions of lesser beings uniting into a single godlike form

Love the shifting colors for the boss, reminds me lots to Gill from 3rd Strike, and how his color palette also lighted up like that. Certainly one of my favourite effects in 2D games.

So the absolute funniest thing I just discovered as of recently. Despite Goozma being a post-moonlord boss, there's actually no summoning restrictions for it. You can just toss an Overloaded Sludge at a King Slime in a slime rain at any point in the game. Yes. This means that you can actually fight Goozma the moment you create a world and get a little resources to make an Overloaded Sludge. All before killing any other boss. You will most certainly die, but considering how *SOME PEOPLE* do some insane stuff just to show off their skills in Calamity, *it's genuinely possible to lift the mucilagenous curse before killing any other boss.*
I never know has more bosses from Calamity mod, but, why has Bad Apple vibe and... i forgot the other name from touhou impershable night, I think Apollo 1975 or 1974... and some Undertale vibes.
God that violin towards the end is so gorgeous, and if you dont mind me asking im trying to get into drumming and i really want to know how you drummed so fast towards the end there, was that a double kick drum or did you do some cool software trickery?
