Thanks for sharing bud, I ride a 2006 blade in novice and was advised to keep the revs high to keep out of the torque band. Blades are very lazy in the gearing you could do the whole track in 3rd 😆 I’ll look out for the duct tape 💪🏼👍
That's was a factor as I did hit that bump, but it had more to do with throttle and lean. This was only the 2nd time on the 1000 moving from the 750 and there was definite whisky throttle goi
Second gear corner then short shift to 3rd to stabilise bike and off you go . This is what I do anyway but I'm no expert 😂... good luck in the future .

@@LowsideLew I think your revs are too low mate, you can give it way too much gas and not realise cos it doesn’t have the power available down at 4/5k but once they start to pick up it does and suddenly you’ve got loads more power without changing the throttle position

Yep, using the revs actually helps not crash which feels wrong but when you do it so much better
Nicely done - surprised that did not turned into a big nasty highside.
It was an odd one. I was running road tyres so I think that saved me from it biting again
Oohh so so unlucky mate. Sorry to see this , there’s a nasty bump there too which can disturb the bike sometimes on lean

@@LowsideLew totally understandable, don’t let that put you off mate
All the best
i did exactly same at 2nd apex on a 636 massive highside 2 operations later im back
I swear it seemed like you almost saved it . Fix her up and keep going
I had enough time to think about it before it dumped me on deck. But I'm not good enough to have actually done anything 😆
tyre warmers?
Been there twice, hate that bend 🫣🤣

Your correct take this guy's☝ advice I did the same as well.
no TC? Tyre pressures?

similar, i highsided 636 at second apex too much gas lean road tyres at wrong pressure
It’s definitely adding gas whilst increasing lean angle your rear wheel slide
100% I've been back since 5 seconds faster no moments.
Took me a while to change style from a 750 - 1000
I believe this is the black duck tape fireblade 😂
Guilty, it wasn't fully fixed from a Mallory off. Same crash I've got some work to do on my throttle application

@@phillipmarsh3997 funny you say that I thought the same thing. Definitely rider error
@@LowsideLew your riding was fine. I suspect the rear tyre for what ever reason decided it had had enough.
@@dwhxyz had S22s on. I was asking too much of them. Have some Supercorsa on now 👍
Now you'll have to steal another one.
