Your eyes are still closed Are you sleeping? Can I touch you? Would it make you fall? You sail in love through the sky When there's a close slips in between us Am I livin' your dreams? Take me with you. The night is still cold Let me hold you Drifting homewards Do you know how the wind blows You sailing love through the sky And I will keep you close beside me Am I livin' your dreams? Take me with you. Drifting homewards Do you know where the wind blows Take me with... Take me with you You sail in love through the sky And I will hold you close beside me Am I livin' your dreams? Take me with you. Am I livin' your dreams? Take me with you.
im glad new people are listening to liz because she is alongside kate bush the best female artist weve ever produced ,listen to the cocteau twins it will open up a new world for you.
I'm not sure Elizabeth is human! I really love her voice and this song! She is light and deepness and her vibrations makes me feel like suspended and breathless! What a huge talent!!!!!!!!!!!!! Poetry, beauty and sadness..... at the same time! Simply the astonishing voice ever! Thank you for posting this video! Great work CAROPASK! From Italy, gone crazy for Cocteau Twins, Antonio! CIAO
I stumbled on The Winter Guest one Saturday and when the end credits began, I heard Liz's voice and just FROZE. Reduced to tears in seconds, there is simply no one like her.
How anyone can not like this is beyond me We might wish for a reunion, or a solo album from Liz, but if it doesn't happen, we should be grateful for what we've had
She is so gentle but capable of evoking such emotion both through her voice and the songs she sings. Liz is one of a kind and I am glad she still makes great music.
This song is absolutely beautiful...Simple lyrics that goes straight to our hearts, when sung by surreal voice of liz fraser and the wonderful melody by michael kamen... quite moving song!!!
There are few singers left in the "alternative music" genre whose voice and talent make me cry and smile at the same time. Liz Frazier is among those few who touch me like that. Without her, they may never have been a Cocteau Twins.
just came from "all flowers in time" duet to this song. strangely coincidental. almost can feel buckley in this song. must complete the cycle with rikean heart...
Artists can't stay stagnant doing the same thing year after year. I love Liz's growth, and it's a testament to the power of her voice that someone completely outside her "genre" of music thought she could do justice to this lovely piece of music. And she did. There is truly no one like Elizabeth Fraser, I hope she records more music soon!
I have loved the timeless music of Ms Fraser and the way she uses her voice as an instrument. Saw the Cocteau Twins in London in 1986 and still listen to them everyday. Oh and regarding this song, well done Alan Rickman!
a most beautiful song..sang by Elizabeth who has a gorgeous voice..to think my favourite actor wrote this song...welllllllllllll...superb..ultimate wonderfulness..
I didn't realize until recently that Alan Rickman (actor- Harry Potter, Die Hard, etc.) wrote the lyrics to this song for a film he directed called The Winter Guest. Such a beautiful song.
I have only just rediscovered the Cocteau Twins ,but already brought an album and cannot stop watching you tube ,Liz Fraser your voice is the voice of an angel and your delivery is just emotionally outstanding!I think I have fell in love
I'm a bit of a goth, I really like the second and also third album for it's barren beauty. Have you discovered Dead Can Dance album Into the labyrinth?
Same here. A friend introduced me to them about 15 years ago, gave me copies of Heaven or Las Vegas and Four-Calendar Cafe, but never touched them. I've been binging on CT and EF for a week now, and I can honestly say that I am officially her spell. It took a while but I get there. I've lost touch with my friend, but I will be forever grateful.
A great, a brilliant, a beautiful song was written by an angel, Alan Rickman, take me with you! I miss him so much, stay well up there angel, I actually love your song, it makes me cry very hard. Always :(
I didn't know that! What a news... I wouldn't expect him to wrote those beautiful (I mean i would) lyrics. And I agree! Rickman is one of the greatest british actor (and director).
Alan Rickman the actor? Oh god I loved him! I think this is so beautiful and it makes me think of how she must have felt to lose Jeff Buckley. She said on one interview that everyone wanted him and she felt like a groupie sometimes seeing his fans. He was a massive fan of hers too and I think, someone as soulful as he was, would have worshipped her. It's so tragic and she looks like an angel. (Omg that is me off howling again!) Nobody comes close to her talent.
LovedLiz in 94 NYC live!her ethereal vocals are timeless love to play her Cocteau twin days in my car loud.not many have experienced her lovely presence through her music...
undoubtedly the most beautiful, poignant love song ever recorded. Right up there with Joni Mitchell's orchestrated rework of Both Sides Now, and Roberta Flack's The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face. Haunting work.
Upon hearing the vocals, my earphones dropped/fell on the floor. It's so dark I had a hard time finding them until the track was about to finish. So i hust settled on what the title says and pressed Download button.
Read in the newspaper about a concert she did this past week in London I think and how wonderful she was.....still no album...didn't talk to the audience...we will just have to accept the wonderful voice!

As I found out more about Liz Fraser after hearing This Love, the soundtrack from Cruel Intentions. I am hopeless, addicted and incurable. Her voice and her music sooth my mind. Please take me with you :(
Thank you! It's simply what this vibrations inspires to me! I'm here in this world to listen her voice and i want to listen again and again and again and again.... Antonio, ciao
ANDY COCTEAU FRASER absolutely! But I can't listen without dissolving into an emotional wreck! I love her voice, it's so otherworldly that I am unsurprised that Jeff Buckley rated her so highly. I understand why she was upset about the duet being released. I lost my partner and I would have gone crazy if something so personal had been treated like that. It is beautiful, of course, but it was hers.
never heard this song... but its beutiful.. got into them back in 87, with an ex of mine. they were in the catagory of positive punk just too let the beginers know

Liz Fraser and Lisa Gerrard are peerless vocalists, truly incredible, they can reach your soul with their incredible voices

You know THAT song that brings tears to your eyes?
Her voice is sublime.
No other vocalist can bring me to such simultaneous sorrow and joy as Liz Fraser. Beautiful.
When I dream of my child it is she who takes me with her into her place of everlasting dreams and she loved the voice of Elizabeth Fraser.
Oh Alan, this world can't cope without you. We're gonna miss you. We loved you. Rest in peace dear man. Rest in the sweetest of peace. xxx
He will always be remembered. He never died. Inspired me to write two books and a filmscript. He is here. NOW. Don#t you sense him. ALWAYS!
@@GhilaPan ...most definitely.

Lyrics: Alan Rickman
Performed: Liz Fraser

You sail in love through the sky
When there's a cloud slips in between us
Am I livin' your dreams?

Let me hold you
Drifting homewards
Do you know how the wind blows
You sailing love through the sky
And I will keep you close beside me
Am I livin' your dreams?
Take me with you.
Drifting homewards
Do you know where the wind blows
Take me with...
Take me with you
You sail in love through the sky
And I will hold you close beside me
Am I livin' your dreams?
Take me with you.
Am I livin' your dreams?
