Hornella's entrance look was the one she left s3 on, and she entered the werkrooms saying "omg! i've been looking fot the exit for months!"
Exactly. Very cleaver and camp.
Mera should have watched the whole entrance line, because everything comes together if you do to make it one of the best All Stars entrances ever with all the references and the humor. She even said a line referencing the song "Punto de Partida", the finale song between Pitita and Vania. You know, the one Hornella wasn't part of because she got eliminated right before. It's such a great All Stars entrance.
Pink Chadora's beard also makes sense if you hear the entrance line.
it would be more impactful if her elimination outfit was more memorable or iconic. she’s calling back to something that the average viewer won’t really remember… she’s just wearing pants.

Hornella's entrance look was the mess version of her finale look. She was recreating that she never left the Drag Race stage. She was stucked in the set until this All Stars
Marta mamma also said that hornella’s entrance was meant to be an allusion to how quick the turn around from her season to this one was. Like she was so frazzled and didn’t even have time to change so she’s still in her finale garb

I love Fabrielle as a fill in for Scarlett! Like Scarlett, Fabrielle is honest but still sweet and tries to give constructive criticism instead of just regular criticism.

I think a great idea for future espana all stars can be inviting different Spanish girls from other franchises like mexico, USA, Canada, down under who maybe had queens who were at a disadvantage having English as a second language now with a mix of Spain girls

I will never get “Norwegian countries” out of my mind lol.
I am geography nerd tho so I pay attention to this a lot more than most people. But yeah, I love the idea of regional franchises. There’s so many places which are unlikely to get one, but I still wanna see the people who do it as well as their cultures.
I remember, for example, seeing a an interview for an Estonian queen and she of course talks about how tiny the scene is there. It’s only 1.3 million people. It’s a country that progressing steadily and hasn’t been independent for that long, so its still not as accepting of LGBTQ as other places. They’re still doing some fairly good strides (first former Soviet country to legalize Marriage equality, came into effect this January 1st!). I also googled for curiosity and found some more Estonian queens and some of them are honestly polished AF. And they’ve been invited to their countries fashion week event, which has to show how it’s becoming more accepted there. Still probably not enough people for a season that’s balanced and competitive, regardless of public opinion in the country.
Also, I’m not sure there’s many countries left in Europe specifically that could get an individual one in a near future. Doing really quick and unreliable research I’d put my money on Ireland, Portugal or Denmark. I think those have the best mix of big enough scene, positive public opinion and progressive laws. I could also see a joint Nordic one as those five countries are all have the public opinion and laws. It would have Denmark and add back Sweden. Plus Finland, Iceland and Norway, three for which I only have doubt on the size of the scene. Like, I see Iceland has a big one in comparison to its tiny population, but the population is still tiny.
Beyond that I find it harder to think of any. Greece maybe. Czechia seems like a stretch. Malta looks super progressive but is also tiny like Iceland. Croatia and Slovenia are making some good progress in laws and opinion, but they’re still probably too small even for a joint thing. Same for a joint Baltic one which would include Estonia, and that’s if Lithuania and Latvia were as progressive as Estonia which they aren’t.
There’s also Austria and Switzerland but they have the overlap with Germany and France so I doubt it.
And my last dumb wildcard guess is Poland, which seems to have a surprisingly big scene for how conservative it is. And I think they finally got rid of their far right government in the elections last year, so some of the population isn’t that conservative clearly. I’d love to see them pull and Italy and get one in a fairly conservative country, but that’s still a very big stretch I think lmao.
But it’s still all fantasizing. And beyond the nordics, Ireland and Portugal, I really doubt any of the rest. I also don’t see many other options elsewhere.
The Mexico-Germany-Brazil announced happened about the same time as the South Korea-Japan-Singapore-India announcement, and I don’t think we’ve heard much from those four. Beyond those…
Taiwan is probably still too small for an individual one.
I assume Vietnam might be in a similar position to Thailand and the Philippines so maybe.
A certain country in the Middle East would probably love to do Pink-Washing with it (not to say that country isn’t fairly ok with LGBTQ people. It would still be used for propaganda, and it’s not as progressive as some keep trying to make it seem. Specially if you’re not just going to vacation at the Capital).
Argentina or Chile wouldn’t surprise me at all.
And maybe Uruguay or Colombia.
Can’t think of anything else… But if something like this is able to, and does happen, it would be so cool. It would open the doors for all of those conservative countries, as well as the progressive but small ones.
If it does happen I’d assume it would be in Europe first, considering how interconnected stuff is in every aspect. EU, EBU, cultural ties. Plus there’s more countries in the position for it I think.
But I would still be so happy if we got one anywhere. One for Asia if the Japan-Korea-India-Singapore individual ones fell through. Or for the rest of Latin America. I want it so bad.
We love mangled mornings, but if you insist on changing it up, maybe “mangled minute” or “mangled moment”

Belgium: I have seen Star perform in Rotterdam, NL back in Easter 2023. She is old school and very witty . She had a solo number and a funny duet with Sedergine.
I can see a Nordic version with all 5 countries of Northern Europe: Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Iceland.

Here’s a little help for you to get over what in Spain we call “the January slope” (“La cuesta de enero”).
that’s what sucks about not hearing your native language and the subtitles sometimes being off. Hornella’s look was actually iconic paired with her entrance line basically saying that she’s been looking for the exit after she was eliminated in the finale. also, on the map Onyx brought, she actually was looking at all her looks from season 1 as stars. and Pink Chadora removed the fake beard and said that she finally learned how to cover her beard, that was the joke with it.
I think she’s reacting to the entrance look they posted on instagram on Sunday cause remember she was supposed to post a video on Monday or Tuesday but never happen and we got the sneak peak for espana all star Monday afternoon.

I had the same problem with the Belgique meet the queens, I tried RUclips & the WOW app too and ended up just watching it and understanding a few words & just enjoying the general looks and vibes😅
(Also I watch this at like midnight UK time cos Incan settle down to watch it before bed, cos it uploads normally when I'm busy in the afternoon here, but I'd still find it weird if it was called anything else 😅)

"Meera Mira!" Mira in Spanish translates to looks... so it could be a play on the words of Meera Looks, lol. It could work when you review Spain and Mexico! It may work for all Mangled Morning content, though!
I'm guessing you speak Spanish but just in case I'll clarify. "Mira" does translate to Look but not in the outfit kind of way but in the action of watching (from the verb "Mirar", -to watch-) so "Meera Mira" wouldn't really make sense unless it is "Mira Meera" which would translate to "Look Meera" or something in those lines.

Eu drag race. asia drag race. north america drag race. We need to work on more Oceana drag, african drag, and south american drag. later do a real all continental drag race that is their version of all stars. drag olympics XD.
