Can anyone go down to the piers and buy seafood off the boats? Used to go down to the shrimp boats and buy shrimp directly off the boats. Just had to be careful you weren't buying rejected shrimp.
You can buy em in delcambre Louisiana right off the boat
I have a lot of the guys on my Facebook and they normally post when they will be selling from the dock. I’m sure you can find it if you ride around enough

Our crabs are the prettiest, mister, not even the ones hail from Chesapeake Bay. ...Those are pretty shrimp but i heard from a friend that the prices are not too good for the fishermen this year due to record catch.
My personal opinion from what I’ve seen is the crabs are the same. La just produces more. And yes prices are not too good.

Those fishermen are hard workers but wouldn't change their lives for anything else. I agree, Ive had crab from Maryland as well the fisheries in Louisiana and I agree Louisiana is the best. Prayers that all fishermen and their boats are all safe and prosperous 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻Amen!!!

When I was a little girl back in the late 60's early 70's, we would go eat at a seafood restaurant on the weekends and stuffed crab was only thing I ate other than fried shrimp. Still one of my favorites. That restaurant has long been closed but I sure would like some stuffed crab after watching ur video. Thanks for the memories.

Cant afford crabs . On the west coast we get Dungeness crab for the holidays and they are $40 for 2 crabs

Great Video. We never said we catch the most or have the biggest. We say ours are the Best. 😂 I appreciate the White Boot Warriors. I actually started slushing on the boat this year. We all gotta help each other out. Our fight is with Foreign and Farm raised, not each other.
I always get people saying Maryland is better for crabs they’re sweeter so on and so forth. In the early videos I never even said anything about Louisiana being beat for crabs but they’d start with it anyway. I don’t believe a crab taste different no matter where it comes from. I also personally think steamed crab is a little bit tastier than boiled. They’re two dif things but the meat in steamed crab is fluffier and dipping in butter is amazing. The back and forth is pretty annoying at this point and you are right we need to all stick together but I would like Louisiana to get a little more respect than they do.

I hate hearing that nearly all of our crabs are going to Maryland. I understand business is business and if I were a crabber I’d be doing what I gotta do. But I still hate it. If Maryland can’t keep up with their own crabs, then they should stop bragging about their crabs.
Well Maryland built the market for crabs. No one come to Louisiana to eat crabs

Jared, I was crappie fishing today and ran into a fisherman that watches your channel. We both agreed it was one of the best channels on RUclips. We both would like to go fishing in St Bernard Parrish and meet you while we are doing it. Maybe someday we will make it happen. Keep up the good work.
