At 75 lakhs, we agree. We think if he can get any close to his previous best, KKR could have another great season. But for that, Vaibhav Arora should be out of form. Arora played last season and did very well for KKR. So, don't think Umran will get opportunity right away.

Also he has been part of KKR for a long time, he's experienced too and is an outstanding fielder, Decent batsman, and I see great leadership quality in him. I think all those points are good enough to be a captain. However, I'll be happy to see Rahane as captain too. But V.Iyer isn't a good choice in my opinion because he's inexperienced, also the pressure to prove himself after what happened in the auction is already there. Now if he becomes captain, that will only add pressure on him which may affect his performance.

And he did a great partnership with V.iyer which led KKR to victory. he has performed every time kkr needed him. Still he is not acknowledged. That's why I want him to finally lead kkr into victory. The only reason I don't want venky to be captain is because he's an important pillar of KKR. If he doesn't perform well then KKR may not win.

Other than captain, a coach could also impact KKR's performance in IPL 2025 (Gautam Gambhir is India's head coach, hence will not coach KKR) .
So, coach is still the same in Chandrakant Pandit. Only mentor and support staff is gone. No Gautam; no abhishek nayar
