It made me cry even when he was just narrating the story. It made me teary eyed.
I never saw this movie because I guessed the plot before watching it. Last Christmas famously contains the lyrics “last Christmas I gave you my heart,” so it spoiled the plot twist for me lol

And now I love this film. I'm glad her dragons dropped her off in this town to start her new life and enabling her to change that heart of hers.
Adapting was rough, but she figured it out.😊

Henry Golding has the best smile.
My daughter actually watched this movie in theatre and when it was on Netflix she insisted me to watch it. It has a great storyline with an unexpected twist . Although he was too good to be true… but still.. I love that movie. I love Emma Thompson 😄😄
Émilia Clark did excellent and my favourite Henry also did a great job.
This must be based on a phenomena I saw on a documentary once, where few people with heart transplants develop similar interests to their donor and even recall memories that aren't theirs.
One woman started wanting to motorcycle and had memories of riding down a specific route, she called the hospital and said what she thought the Donor's name was, and his name was actually very similar, and his family said he rode a motorcycle a lot.
At first I thought this was going to be a darker movie, but as soon as she mentioned the heart transplant I immediately knew where it was going lol
I cried,the ending made me sad
O-kaaay...so this is literally "Last Christmas I gave you my heart" huh? Did not see this coming honestly...dunno how I feel about that

Oh God. I'm predicting after they show the surgery scar. Tom is dead, he was Katerina's heart donor. "Santa" is Tom's mother/relative or someone who knew him closely. This is gonna get sad.
Edit: that or Tom knows the heart donor(if it's a happy ending), but I'm leaning more towards the "he is the donor" story

I can't believe Seth MacFarlane let her go. I didn't like her much as Daenerys...which is a credit to Emilia in that role. In this movie, she was down right irresistible, and she can sing too.

This movie completely bombed, because the there was zero chemistry between Emily Clark and Henry Golding. And besides Emily is just not cut out as a romantic lead or leading a Terminator movie.
