We live in a world where masculinity is softening and disappearing, Iv often wondered how men of the past were and this talk has transferred exactly their character, they were close to death and thus they lived life accordingly, we are pampered, we don't need to strain, physical suffering is rare and death seems a vast distance away from us, and so we become neurotic about inconsequential things, we create suffering where there is none. The reality of death if felt experientially burns away these superfluous feelings and thoughts.
I will try to bring up this feeling in me everyday, I will use my mind to bring death close to me.
You are the best. You radiate truth Thank you. So much care for us, so serious. None of that hippi high smile... I felt my heart hear you.

I understand the point of this lecture. But as it seems the masculine has been for centuries brought forth by the feeling of threat and demand, it would be the most healthy to not rely on that old paradigm. Instead of the imminent death how would it feel like to wholly embrace the imminent life? To totally accept my own existence; not apologize, not defend, not secure? How would it feel like to be totally myself, to feel every breath as the first and the last one, to allow my attention to focus and open fully to life as it is and as it moves in this moment? How would it feel like to trust that the most positive and most loving outcome is about to happen if I let my guard down, soften my heart and open my awareness to what is?

I prefer to be balanced & whole rather than leaning towards up or down, left or right, good or bad, white or black, positivity or negativity . Focusing on pure positivity in a dual plane in a flesh & blood body is unrealistic & a very pussy naive neophyte way of thinking . But I respect your opinion regardless
