Shiki (屍鬼) takes place in particularly hot summer in 1994, in a small quiet village called Sotoba. A series of mysterious deaths begin to spread in the village, as soon as a strange family moves into the long-abandoned Kanemasa mansion on top of a hill. Megumi Shimizu, a young girl who wanted to leave the village and move to the city, pays them a visit never to return. She is later found lying in the forest and tragically dies. Toshio Ozaki, dean of the only hospital in Sotoba, initially suspects an epidemic. But as investigations continue and the deaths begin to pile up, he becomes convinced that they are the work of the undead plaguing the village. A young man named Yuuki Natsuno, who hates living in the village, begins to be pursued and surrounded by death.
Anime&manga are not at all scarry but very, very sad instead. I think that the most of people who have seen this anime or read the manga would agree with me - the whole drama should ended much more optimistic. Nice song! Never heard of the anime, but this synopsis sounds intriguing for sure
Its about the little village, the vampires have moved in and pretend to be humans. Then the villagerd start to die because of the anemia. The villagers begun to notice that some of their relatives start to emerge im the deep of the night. Some of the relatives have just died. Then the villagers begun to believe that all this new people in the village and the relatives that woke up are their worst enemies. The woken up relatives had exactly the same personality as before. The vilagers didn't care and burnt all those vampires mercilessly instead of to negotiate and find a solution. They didn't want to learn about the past times- I suppouse that the people who live under many generations should become very smart (one thing that is against this theory was that they still drink the human blood insted to invite something better 🤪). Anyway. In conclusion people will always behave that way against the minorities 🤣😅. Ok I know it was nothing speciel innovative conclusion butI was pretty young when I watched it 😃
@@MagdalenaTheremin Well, I tend to like plots where people start disappearing until they figure out who's the villain! But yes, vampires living beyond generations often don't get as smart as they should in shows/movies/stories, lol
