I would not worry about the mapping at all, just groups all the minis together like most event books do. It still reads ok, they overlap a lot so there's no real good way of mixing all the issues.
Great overview Jess! I was thinking about getting this but did some reading and found out that the mapping is not the best on this and not in chronological order with the actual event and the tie-ins.
