I bet (just like for me) it is not possible for you to squat deep or "ATG" without large heel raise. I am also going the machine route to train quads. I really wanted to be able to pistol though :( Thanks for demonstration!
i saw your video and it was very good...i am interested in purchasing this squat machine... over the period of time that you have been using have you seen a significant change in your strength and mass and cuts in your legs front and back?
Thank you for the compliment on the video, Yes I have seen significant change in strength mas and cuts in the Quadricep group of muscles (Vastus lateralis, Rectus femoris, Vastus intermedius and Vastus medialis). The unexpected muscle growth is in the Fascia lata. The posterior of the leg gained no mass, this would require the use of a leg curl or some deadlift. I received this machine because my Dad said I was too young to put a bar on the back of my neck for squatting this early in life. So this is the machine I started with.
I have the same machine - can't face outward unless you have someone to move the starting pin for you and put it back when you are done. As well, probably would be hard to balance in that direction
You can get some squat wedges and stand on the floor to do a more quad focused movement - puts some pressure on the knees though and is a little awkward with the movement path of the lever arm.
I was thinking about buying the piece of equipment via online.. now that you I see someone 1/4" taller than me, I see I will fit fine.. thanks amigo for posting the video... good luck with all your training
@7asuja I’m 6’8” I was able to 120kg on this machine. Regular barbell squats 60kg comfortably. The machine used had uncomfortable pads. heaviest squats I’ve ever been able to do was on this machine.
If you could only have one leg machine, would you choose the leverage squat or hack squat/leg combo machine and why?
This pandemic made me save money. Building my own gym feels so good!
Damn right brother. And let's just wait till this pandemic is once and for all over and "used/new" gym equipment for sale season opens eheheh

isn't the last exercise called calf raise?
Doesn't it train your calves?

Thank you for the reply. That's a very intelligent question. My time is limited due to homework however I will reply by tomorrow evening.

I noticed that your name is the same as Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly with the exception of one letter, any relation?
Great 👍 just remember to not lock out your knees to avoid knee injury
Was going to say the same thing about locking out the knees. Great video
Hi, what are the dimensions?
Can u face outwards to do more of a quad focused squat ?

Where can I buy this machine?????
Top d+
Do you feel this in your quads much? :)
It works the quads but it is more for your glutes
👏👏👏👏👏
How tall are u?
Sorry it took so long to reply, 5ft 11 1/2 in
Why do you ask for my height?
@@aaronlawilliams3160 To know if my height fits the machine. I'm 6'3. Thanks!

Toe raises? 👍. Squats? ❌❌ looks awkward.
I own this machine, not awkward at all. This thing will burn your legs
@@justjohn54 barbell back squats are a total body exercise. This machine will only lead a person to aches and pains....
@@Buzz_Kill71 I had a competitive squat of 845 sir, I think I know what I’m talking about
@@justjohn54 I highly doubt that claim....
@@Buzz_Kill71 Google my name that and find out for yourself
