I've been working on upgrading my home network from copper to OM4 10 gbps fiber after a lightning strike took out most of my network infrastructure, and the FX39 caught my eye for putting my own cables together! Appreciate the honest unboxing video, going to pick up my own shortly here from your link. Fujikura machines are way out of my price range unfortunately!
The Fujikura machines are really nice, but if you are doing hobby and small stuff you will be fine. I know guys running other brands daily with out issues. Thanks for watching sir ! I love mine !
@@JasonsLabVideos ah okay, I haven't had an issue yet besides having to calibrate it. I snagged mine from an eBay Vevor seller for $250 so if it does crap out it's not that bad.
It cannot weld outside in windy weather. Welding values are high in cold weather. You should weld different brand cables 4-5 times then you can measure 0.01. LED lighting broke down in the 6th month. Single model cable and sufficient for indoor use. Camera quality is low. Standard welding power and timing are insufficient. If there are others with similar problems, I can send them the settings. With my own settings, the welder can work with fewer problems. For example, you can see that it does not weld by welding a normal pigtail cable to an otdr launch box fiber cable. My signal fire ai 9 machine, which I have used for 1 year, works both indoors and outdoors without any problems. Its warranty and service department are just cancerous. If there is a problem, you are alone.
