Did he play very good wearing the Celtic's shirt? People usually don't talk about his career in the Scottish team. People only talk about him when he played for Athletic of Madrid (Spain) and Middlesbrough (England).

He played well I thought. Certainly set up a lot of goals in little appearances. If I recall correctly, his passing was erratic at times, but he was played out of position.

My father is a Celtic fan and thinks he was terrible. He didn’t realise how heavy the shirt was and was scared of the noise from Rangers fans.
It’s common for foreign players to not realise how big the old firm Derby is and are unable to handle it mentally. It happens with many world class players, simply don’t have the conditioning for it

@lyle977 Oh ok, I supposed it's crazy when there's a match between these two main Scottish teams. It's worldwide known. I think Brazilian players should play for one of these two teams someday to experience how crazy it is.

@@AHumanClay It’s unexpected for some, even if they hear of the two teams. They come having won La Liga or the World Cup and think Scotland should be easy in comparison.
The man who replaced Juninho was McGeady, a teenager who grew up knowing about the old firm much closer and he held the position for many years
We do get talented foreigners come and do well, they just need to come in with the proper and ready mentality in order to put their skills to use
