I already have evans acoustic skin & ddrum and Roland trigger & module with aquarian mesh skin but im very interested with your new product guy's, hope you made acoustic skin that can be digitaly triggered... Your multi zone sensitivity is welcome.
Via our friends from Sunhouse: lan composed this song for his 2020 solo album 'Belonging,' so it's not a preset kit in our library. But we do have plenty of melodic presets we think are pretty cool. We'll also be doing a breakdown/tutorial of the techniques lan uses in this song (with downloadable templates) on the Sunhouse blog very soon, so look out for that! Here's a link to Sunhouse's sounds page, which links out to some great sound packs: sunhou.se/sounds
Our system uses proprietary sensors versus traditional triggers. This means a bunch of things including: more zones (lets you play cross sticks, rimshots, damped hits, stick shots, etc.), they're more accurate and nuanced to capture playing better, they're easy to set up and train - in addition to sound replacement or layering, Sensory Percussion opens up new worlds of sonic exploration
Interesting, but I see limited value in this, if you're in a band. It's cool, don't get me wrong, but what makes this better than a high end Roland E kit?
Sensory Percussion provides the flexibility to play hyper-realistic acoustic drum sounds, experimental and melodic sounds, or any sounds/samples on your computer, it has the natural feel of an acoustic kit (you can even use traditional acoustic heads), and you can showcase the beauty of an acoustic drumset with the power of blending electronic sounds and digital controls. With up to 10 zones per drum our system is much more expressive than a traditional e-kit, featuring options for true rimshots, cross-sticks, damped hits, stick shots, etc. and modifying FX based on where on the drum head is played, the price point compares favorably to other high-end electronic drumming systems. For a great example with a full band check out this performance featuring the legendary Omar Hakim! ruclips.net/video/OfDLZSlKJZ8/видео.html

The sensors are compatible with our standard heads, but are optimally paired with our dB Reduced Volume mesh heads - check them out!
Does Ian's custom kit come as a preset? If so I'm ordering immediately ❤🔥

Ian has some Serum presets on Splice, that I think he uses with sensory perc sometimes.

How different is this from Akira Jimbos setup using a Yamaha sound module and triggers?
Rad. Wonder if the sensor would work on the drum riser he's on 🤖
Whats the difference between this and drum triggers?

why not buy a mid drumset?
