@@SuperOmnicronsj44 I don't understand "he was good for only 1 year" argument. It makes no sense. He had the best QB season of all time for only 1 year. Justin Herbert is impressive as an individual after the college season was over. That is great, and he will do well in the NFL. But you cannot compare Herbert to Burrow in any way. One is just exceptionally more accomplished than the other.
      J. Burrow 2018+2019 combined stats.
      CMP: 621 ATT: 906 AVG CMP%: 68.5 YDS: 8565 TDs: 76 INT: 11
All this in arguably the most competitive conference in CFB and against 12 AP Top 10 ranked teams.
      J. Herbert 2018+2019 combined
      CMP: 526 ATT: 832 AVG CMP%: 63.2% YDS: 6622 TDs: 61 INT: 14.

dvsxavier why? The panthers have a high pick and they can trade up. I seriously see you guys having a chance to get him. You need him more than the Chargers who have a great backup and a veteran team which would probably do better with a veteran QB rather than some unpolished rookie.

If Carolina really loves him I think they can get him (trade up a little bit). Or they try to rebuild and take a player like Isaiah Simmons, Lamb, Jeudy,Willis... .

Whose Herbert comparable too? I’m not sure I can even think of an elite QB whose 6’6.

This guy reminds me of a more athletic Tom Brady. Tall smart and has a rocket for an arm. Nobody thought Tom Brady was going to amount to much. I feel Herbert once he gets some real talented receivers with some heighth he is going to do really good. He is tall so he over throws alot of shorter guys. Give him a guy who can't jump and get under his rocket for an arm and he will be great.

Brady never had a good arm or was athletic. He reminds me of Joe Flacco with legs. Tall, huge arm, was very good but not great in college and the team around him wasn't great.
