I was also on “mom on call schedule” for my first born and it worked so well. I did it unknowingly though - it just happened that I was so dependent on my feeding app and being a FTM with no village, I thought it was the only way LOL and had no idea it was actually a thing. It easily put our lives on a routine since newborn days and I think it’s one of the the reasons why he’s become such an easy baby/toddler who sleeps well. I was planning on changing some stuff for my second bubs (like to be more laidback and feed on demand) but I might not na lang after watching this lol
Thank you for this vlog, my first born is the same age as Scottie and I’m expecting our second bub in September. I feel like you’re my virtual mum friend who is my “karamay/kaagapay” through motherhood times haha xx

I'm a mom of a 7-month old baby and I totally agree with everything you said. My children are 7 years apart. And when I had my 2nd baby, I also did a lot of things different from what I did on my 1st. Sleeping with the lights off (dim light is enough), feeding on schedule, letting him soothe himself, and pacifier. Though he doesn't like pacifier now but it did helped a lot to soothe him.
You're doing a great job, momma!

Woww I resonate so much with your point about sleep. I am the mom of a 5 month old and have realized my mistake in being too relaxed about sleep etiquette. We also wanted to be the “chill” parents and not make our baby a picky sleeper and we did exactly the opposite. I now realize that sleep independence from early on is key to everyone’s sanity!

A single lady (since birth) right here would definitely go back and rewatch this video in the future when I become a mom. Watching mommy Kryz's dedication and passion finding the best way she could raise her children makes me super duper excited to be a mom as well! Key takeaway: It's okay when things don't go with the plan/schedule and we can't always be there for them. And that's when they can learn how to cope up and adjust to life challenges and differences✨
Preparation is the key jud. Mommyhood ain't easy pero would definitely keep everything in mind. Thank you Ms. Kryz! 🤗☺️😁

As much as I appreciate the older generation giving me advice for each of my three children, my husband and I do what works for us. We work together and have our own parenting style. Of course we still use our parents/aunties advice during certain times, but whene they begin to judge our parenting choice... that is when I become slightly defensive. I'm glad you're learning from your previous experience. We Mamas always learn and adapt, especially with more children. So KUDOSSS to identifying your errors before and trying new things.

Hi Krizz-I work in a baby friendly hospital. New studies shows nowthat we should breastfeedbabies on demand and not every 2-3 hours or 4 hours. When you see them fussy or sucking their lips, smacking or turning side to side, thats a sighn that you should feed. The reason why their is rooming in,so you can see when the baby is hungry and you could have more bonding.

I agree in giving pacifier to baby. My reason for that is pacifiers can be sterilized ensuring safety for the baby. On the other hand, if my baby does thumb sucking, i cant be assured that her hands are clean all the time specially on the age when she wants to touch everything. 🤱

agree with the pacifier. i didn't use it for my 1st baby but this time around i'll introduce it para the baby can learn to self soothe especially at night. it lessens the risk for SIDS din daw by keeping the airway open.

Yeeesss for these, momma Kryz! I'm one of the few lucky ones who learned these in advance (I'm the one taking care of my niece and nephew and I had no work so I was able to see and realize things before my own baby came out). At 1 yr and 9 months, my baby started daycare (btw I live in Japan) and so it was so much easier to stop bottle feeding.
The last thing you said is also on point 💯. Kalinga lang at sapat na atensyon nating mga ina ayos na sa mga anak natin. ❤️

I agree with the pacifier thing. My in-law had some unpleasant comments when she learned that my son was using pacifier. Saying she didnt use one for her sons as it will deform their lips -_- what should I do then? Let my baby overfeed?
We didnt initially buy one, however, he’d been overfeeding because he always cries and feeding is the only thing that calms him. His stomach will get so full and eventually he’ll vomit. He’ll cry again and then we’re at full circle.
We realized he is not hungry, he just needs to suck on something. So we decided to use pacifier. And that’s not an easy task. He didnt like those pacifiers with unusual shapes. We had to find the closest shape to the silicone nipple we had for his feeding bottle.
At 2 yrs old, we were able to wean him out of it when it got damaged.
For the new moms out there, do what you think is best for your kid. Do not listen to people’s opinion especially if you think it will not help you case. Do your research.

Hi Ms. Kryz, can you do an experience video or disclaimer video on BabyPlus Prenatal Education System? I watched one of your video clips, you used it when you were pregnant. Your experience on the system, might help me decide whether to also use it or not 😊😊😊 Thank you Ms. Kryz for your informative videos.
