#2 felt confusing, like who is person from past and who's new person from future because they both had traits and behaviors of the current person, I tried my best to make sense of it but time and time again it would leave me to confusion. I am not saying there isn't a possibility of a new person but both people seemed to me to be the current person I am talking to now.
