He keeps saying that he is ultimately responsible (which teases you into thinking he might be about to take some responsibility) but then he snatches hope away by describing everything as 'internal processes' which he cannot discuss. The final jab was well deserved. Mayorkas refused to answer with any useful information, so Senator Kennedy slammed him into the wall in the end. The only thing we learned from this exchange is that Mayorkas claims to be responsible for everyone in DHS, yet seem to be less accountable than a cockroach.
The people who picked her for the position also wrote his generic answers that are not answers at all. He needs to go, along with his handlers and all the other actors they control who have powerful positions.
