Bought one 6 Years ago and never got to use , because it won't intake water just like you said. It was a used one but good condition. Now I'll try what you did 😉 thanks
i am having a hard time finding a video that shows how to remove the impeller, mine is very corroded and many bolts need to be replaced so i can close the impeller housing back up, how does one remove the impeller ?
Not sure mate that was not my issue, not sure if it's pressed on, or bolted top the crank.... you may just need to use a 3 jaw puller to yank it off.... you can download the service manual form Honda for free it should have tha removal procedure for you. ....
Hey I just had a customer drop one of these off cuz it won't run for very long. Can I run it without water going to it (dry run) or will the pump burn up?
If it's a trash or semi trash pump with the metal blades then yeah you can run it for a few mins no issues but at least prime the pump before running to avoid any damage.
The high pressure versions of these have been designed wrongly .Always and I mean always you end up getting water into your engine oil after only 20 hours use ..Terrible design
Huh...strange...mines been rock solid until thus happened and it's been years since I fix this without any issues... I pump about 10k gallons a year so light use for sure..
Well spotted mate and no parts required which is always nice 😊, I love taking things apart and getting to know how it works 👍👍👍
Ha... me too, even as a kid I was always taking stuff apart....didn't always go back together but that's how you learn :)
