My greatest lasting, practical takeaway from my breakthrough ayahuasca experience in essence was like yours: a restored childlike feeling of novelty and appreciation for life. I thought I might never come back from where I was, and when I did, I was just elated to be here and I felt like a child, as if I had been reborn. Colors seem brighter now. After so much timeless time suspended in someplace that was nowhere, the force of gravity was such an exciting thing to have back in my life. I literally jumped up and down for several days to feel the pull of gravity, and I was so grateful to have the limits of this Earth imposed on me. It's a real gift to be able to experience the novelty of "discovering" so many physical and emotional characteristics of being alive that become invisible or dulled to us as we get older. The breakthrough experience left some trauma that time to work out, but it also completely erased a lifelong depression, including frequent suicidal thoughts. I am grateful to be here, and I'm grateful for all the adventures of life, small and large.
to everyone saying he's not legitimate in the comments: he made this himself. this was not ritual ayahuaska. everyone's experience is unique and just because someone's doesn't meet up to your stereotype or personal experience doesn't mean it wasn't theirs.
It also has the effect of erasing your tobacco, sugar and kaffein tollerance. Making you no longer addicted

I love the "ego death" experience of psychedelics at first its completely terrifying but in the end super enlightening
