Pavarotti (italian), Plácido Domingo (spanish) and José Carreras (spanish)
They were close Friends and made this when Carreras (in the middle) survived a hard leukemia and had decided to quit opera.
With these concerts They gathered money for Carreras' foundation against leukemia.
They won a grammy and stablished a Guiness récord for the most sold Classical músic álbum.
In the álbum there were opera Classics and brodway and pop songs adapted to Classical.
Avengers of Opera should be the only way the Three Tenors are referred to from now on :)
The three of these loved to have fun together. I met one (not Pavarotti) and his sense of humor was wonderful!
It's not Opera it's a Neapolitan song written by a soldier abroad
Yes, it was the Mount Rushmore of Opera. The Special Magical Edition.
Also, with training I could see you having the capacity to sing like an opera singer. Mind you, training is always needed for opera...
And no, very rare group of teenagers are fans of opera. Maybe musicals or the Nightwish.
On the right Luciano Pavarotti, Italian, in the middle Jose Carreras, Spanish, and on the left Placido Domingo, Spanish...he was a natural baritone who had to raise his octaves to the tenor range. That's why his voice is more powerful, as he sang across two registers. I'd like to suggest a listen to some baritones, like Tito Gobbi, or Ruggero Raimondi. The sopranos like Maria Callas and Angela Gheorgiou are a good start with the femal singers. If you want to really get into it, La Traviata is a good opera to take in, or I Puritani. You can find complete operas on RUclips. I'm a huge Queen fan, but I'm into opera too, in a big way.
Did you notice that Pavarotti was chewing gum?
No I didn’t notice that
this song is Neopolitan music - not opera. Nessun Dorma was an aria from an opera.

Amazing duets with Willie Nelson, Diana Ross, Dolly Parton, Stevie Wonder, Frank Sinatra.... And best cover of 'Can't help falling in love'

And please, also react to Raphael. Amazing spanish singer. One of the greatest. ('Yo soy aquel', 'En carne viva', 'Como yo te amo', 'Escándalo'...) The spanish Tom Jones (in fact they did a duet together). Raphael with 78 years old is still singing with great voice. 2019 tour: Albert Hall London, Carniegie Hall New York, Olympia Paris, International House of music Moscow... He have an amazing live in Eurovision with 'Yo soy aquel' and also crazy dances with 'Escandalo' or 'El gavilán'.
Pablo with all respect not by far is a very good singer, but you know the best is Pavarotti
@alexandrudanielmangiurea506 I prefere Domingos voice. So powerful and warm. Pavarotti was very good but not my favorite.
Haha Mount Rushmore is a good comparison. The 3 tenors concerts are the most successful concerts in the history of classical music. So Carreras, Domingo and Pavarotti are the Mount Rushmore of opera. For me personally Pavarotti is the no.1.
Naturally in history there are more great tenors beside them: Caruso, Corelli, di Stefano, Gigli, Björling, Lanza and so on. ...If you like to hear more of the 3 tenors, than watch a Hollywood medley of their second event 4 years later in L.A. in the presence of Frank Sinatra and Gene Kelly: ruclips.net/video/tezDcWcqOog/видео.html
Ok I will check it out and thank you for watching
Levi Strauss?????????? Think about it
