Hello everyone, MT here with the usual trainspotting action! An hours’ time at Apperley Bridge Station on the Airedale line between Leeds & Bradford. Purpose was to capture the Scarborough Spa Express steam tour hauled by a steamer which was Class 5 44932. Plus, there was the standard passenger services and the odd freight passing through. Before all of that, I first got a shot of the CrossCountry HST which has now got two power cars with classic intercity liveries on them considering they have less than an month to go before they retire from passenger service with CrossCountry. Best get a ride on them before they go. Hope you all enjoy this!
Trains featured:
- Northern Trains 158’s, 331’s & 333’s
- LNER Azuma’s
- GBRF 66’s
- LMS Class 5 44932 hauling the ‘Scarborough Spa Expres’
And an CrossCountry HST at Leeds

why has the 333s front and rear doors been painted yellow?
I think it is something to do with people with poor vision to know where a door is?
