I love watching everyone’s videos because I realize all the things I didn’t notice before! Like I totally missed that the ruler stencil had a monthly habit tracker. I seriously just though it was a lot of checkboxes. 😂 It was so fun to see Evolve! The details and colors are so fun! Plus I’ve now decided that I need to get the wisteria folio cover with a robin colored cover (which I probably already have because it’s my favorite of the EC color options) because that is the best color combination!! 😍 It sounds like you buy sticky notes the way I buy mini snap-in bookmarks. 😂
I was very much going to get another 7x9 Horizontal in Canvas but that Evolve Compact Vertical is gorgeous. The colors just make me happy to look at them! May have to rethink my whole plan for 2025.
I'm rethinking my whole plan as well! I've been so happy in my monthly planner, but this new style AND the new weekly add on pages has my head spinning!
I could see taking an old coil with a pretty cover and snapping on some of the fun snap in accessories to have a resource set handy. The notepad holder, some sticky notes, the insert ones with some sticker sheets, etc.
I’m glad that the dual tips this launch don’t have the designs printed on them like in years past. I agree that this seems like a step towards them making a whole new line of dual tips in a bunch of shades. 😊
So excited about so many things! The notepad dashboard would work great for me on the front of my teacher planner because it uses the same kind of spiral as EC. I definitely want to get one for there.

The smallest planner EC offers is a 4" x 6.25" "Pocket Planner" in a horizontal layout. You can see the 2024 version on Amazon now, and the new ones for 2025 will be back in September probably!
I am getting the Daily Duo in 7x9 in Evolve because that weekly layout is all I need in life AND they fixed it so Saturday and Sunday are on the same 2-page spread! I don't really need it to start until January, but I don't know that I can wait until then! I also love that sampler. Such a good idea and I can't believe they're only just now doing it! I have my monthly planner like yours and I draw in the weeks. I am not buying anything this time around because my planner is a Jan-Dec. But if they had come out with something with the tracker as the weekly pages I would have seriously reconsidered. Keeping my fingers crossed that it’s popular enough that they come out with a planner in January that is just those pages.
It's hard because I love my monthly planner too! If EC didn't send me this, I think I'd be waiting as well, at least until the monthly launch. I'm considering frankenplanning a monthly with these add-ons. Especially if they offer them for the monthlies!

I had the pocket dashboard in my cart but removed it. I thought it would be nice to have it in a notebook, but now that I see the thickness, I'm glad I didn't grab it. And yes, the dates in the Daily are new. They were both on the outside previously. I wish they were both just on the lefthand of each page.
I realized afterwards that the sampler pack page placement doesn't reflect the way they are placed in the actual LPs, because the monthly dashboards were on the right side. But still the DD dates are just opposite instead of always on the left.
I love that clear planner folio- I would miss being able to keep my frixion pens I use for color coding with me. I have the neoprene folio that keeps my pens and random papers inside.
I do love the innovation of making the front clear, but I agree that it takes away function -- which is more important to me. I wish I would have grabbed a neoprene folio when they still had the 7x9 size in stock. I'm not a folio girl, but I feel like it'd be perfect for my ipad.
I am so excited for the sample pack to try out ALL the layouts and designs! Evolve Life Planner is going in the cart. Is there a limit to add ons?! I want them all! Thanks for showing the folio, because I was on the fence but now I am a strong nope. SO excited for the new stencil!
You can choose one add on. It's 40 pages (20 sheets front and back). I'm so tempted to get a second LP just to get a second set of add on pages but I'm gonna be patient and wait to see if they offer them on the Monthly first lol
Kristan - First of all, let me just say I really appreciate your channel. I've been in an EC monthly planner for years, but this school year I've had a major shift in planning from homeschool mom to semi-empty nester, and am now struggling to figure out my planning needs. I found your channel a few months ago as I was trying to figure out how to make the monthly work for me since I somehow now need to give more structure to my weeks. (Whereas before I guess I had the structure built in with homeschooling and general mom-ing?) ANYWAY, that process could be a five-paragraph essay in itself, but long story short - your channel has helped me figure out what I think I need - thank you! SO - I do have a specific question regarding the new EC LP - are there any lined pages included in the back of the basic planner like in years past (and if so how many)? I think I need to move from a monthly, but I have need of a weekly note-taking page, so I'm trying to find out if I can get myself 52 blank note pages at the end between included pages and the 40 page add-on. (I really wish the add-ons had 52 pages for a full year...)

It's 5 sheets front and back for 10 pages total (one of them has a tab attached). So you're just barely short 😭. There are other pages back there you could cover with blank sticker paper perhaps! Or maybe utilize a coil clip for that last sheet you need.
I don’t understand why Etta Vee got a beautiful vellum cover sheet and Bold Blooms got the asterisks on their vellum sheet that goes with the Canvas planner. Could it possibly have been a mistake? I loved having a beautiful Vellum sheet last year in my EttaVee. This year I was going with Bold Blooms because I just thought that was incredibly beautiful. Now that I have seen an affiliate go over Bold Blooms 1:06:27 1:06:27 , actually two of them, I found out that they don’t have the beautiful art on the Vellum sheet and they have a little flower on the side of the monthly sheet instead of the design going all across the top. That disappointed me too I should have said this, Kristen, your video was great. I always enjoy watching your videos and learn a lot from them. Thank you so much, Carol! I know the vellum was a let down to a lot of people. I can't remember the last time there was a floral version with floral vellum. I remember people using stickers on the plain vellum in Flora to make it pretty, and Wildflowers last year had the asterisks. Did In Bloom have pretty vellum? I never buy the floral versions so I'm not sure.
Yay! I'm so happy they have something that works perfectly for you. What color agenda? I think they changed the structure of it (less floppy) so I'm honestly tempted to grab one to figure out a use for 😂

I’m Definitely getting a Bold Blooms planner (February is yellow and the July is red/pink!❤- it’s like they read my mind), but I can’t decide on the layout - perhaps the compact vertical…? I might just wait for the monthly. And I still have to decide on the accessories. What do you think of the longevity of the pens? And how do You store them? I find my EC pens dry up and I don’t even use them so much. I hope the Monthly Planner has that week on one page 😊
You're welcome! I'm always happy to help 😊 So far I haven't had many issues with the pens. I store most of mine on their sides in the EC acrylic pen holders. I can post a pic on my community tab tomorrow. I'm dying for the Monthly to have the option to add in those weekly pages. 🙏

You could but it doesn't seem to be meant to do that. It feels kind of rigid, and you'd be creasing it over time. It also doesn't lay flat underneath the planner.
I’m sticking with a monthly and setting up it up like you do. Even the similar layout with the goals add-on isn’t quite laid out as I like. I use my lists more, and the list in the add-on is too narrow - the way you do it is more half-and -half. So I’m waiting for the monthly planners to release... which is when again?
It's not the same as the coiled planners, but it's the same as it has been if you have had a petite before. Still thick, but smoother than the main planners.
Have you ever had one of their softbounds? I feel like the softbound paper and their petite planners use the same paper. It isn’t the same as the LifePlanner, like Kristen said. The LifePlanner paper is toothy but these are more smooth. It’s still 80# though.
Kristan, is the coil big enough with an 18-month and an add-on? I've never had an 18-month, but I hate struggling with too-small coils for a year plus. Thanks, and as always, looking forward to the next video. P.S. That's your layout, for sure :)
It's a tight fit, but it does close flat all the way if you don't add in any bulky snap in accessories (bookmarks seem fine). Stickers each week will make it bulk up very fast. But as-is, the pages turn nicely. Thank you for watching!
EC ruined the Daily duo for me so I'm probably going with the Evolve 7x9 CV for 2025. I typically order in the fall during F&F or Black Friday. I might do a monthly instead... haven't decided.
Oh interesting! I'd love to hear your gripes on the new DD. It seems like so many of the changes were requested by many people. Are we on the same team re: mini calendar? 😁
@@KristanKremer i liked the mini calendar but that isn't really why.. I don't like that they moved the to do up and there is no longer that space we had next to the mini .. i used that space for important things so I wish they would have just left a space there.. I like the days to be on opposite sides, not having the left one to the right now (at least on Evolve)... visually, i hate it now. That's my only reason and these things are so expensive that i want to love looking at it, ya know? i also wouldn't use that weekly spread thing so that isn't really an added value for me personally but i get that some people will love that.
@@planthungry I totally understand wanting it to be right since we spend a lot of money on these! And I didn't think about the top space being for important things, but that would have been a great spot to just leave a little blank box. They left the notes page in at least!
I am probably the only person who doesn't care for the Evolve design but then I am not a fan of abstract designs in general. I am probably going to get a Plum Paper Daily for 6 months because I don't care for the Daily Duo any longer and get just the Erin Condren Bold Blooms cover eventually. I don't need a new planner until '25 anyway so I have some time to decide.
I love that the EC covers can work on the PP planners! And I also love the options PP has, and I've been tempted to grab their weekly dashboard layout (I think that's what it's called) to try just for fun.
I have noticed that the notepads with 50 sheets have paper that isn’t as thick as the pads with 25 sheets. The experience of writing on the thinner paper just isn’t the same. 😢
Yeah, it's absolutely much thinner in this pocket dashboard notepad. The upside is that it does feel less precious so it's easier to just USE IT if that makes sense. lol

I never found how to add the notepaper section on my order. But I did get the duo..so maybe that is why?
That is correct. The add-on pages are only available on the 7x9 Weekly planners. The DD coil is stuffed so they wouldn't fit.
Any idea when academic year monthly planners will be available on the site? I hope they add that week on one page to the monthly planner too!

How do you insert the add-on pages
In the ordering process where you choose the layout, there's an option at the bottom to chose your add-on pages if you wish.
How many sets of add ons can you do? For example two sets of the weekly planner pages or one set of those and one set of extra lined pages?

It's a tight fit, but it does close flat all the way if you don't add in any bulky snap in accessories (bookmarks seem fine). Stickers each week will make it bulk up very fast. But as-is, the pages turn nicely. Thank you for watching!

EC ruined the Daily duo for me so I'm probably going with the Evolve 7x9 CV for 2025. I typically order in the fall during F&F or Black Friday. I might do a monthly instead... haven't decided.
Oh interesting! I'd love to hear your gripes on the new DD. It seems like so many of the changes were requested by many people. Are we on the same team re: mini calendar? 😁
@@KristanKremer i liked the mini calendar but that isn't really why.. I don't like that they moved the to do up and there is no longer that space we had next to the mini .. i used that space for important things so I wish they would have just left a space there.. I like the days to be on opposite sides, not having the left one to the right now (at least on Evolve)... visually, i hate it now. That's my only reason and these things are so expensive that i want to love looking at it, ya know? i also wouldn't use that weekly spread thing so that isn't really an added value for me personally but i get that some people will love that.
@@planthungry I totally understand wanting it to be right since we spend a lot of money on these! And I didn't think about the top space being for important things, but that would have been a great spot to just leave a little blank box. They left the notes page in at least!
I am probably the only person who doesn't care for the Evolve design but then I am not a fan of abstract designs in general. I am probably going to get a Plum Paper Daily for 6 months because I don't care for the Daily Duo any longer and get just the Erin Condren Bold Blooms cover eventually. I don't need a new planner until '25 anyway so I have some time to decide.
I love that the EC covers can work on the PP planners! And I also love the options PP has, and I've been tempted to grab their weekly dashboard layout (I think that's what it's called) to try just for fun.

I have noticed that the notepads with 50 sheets have paper that isn’t as thick as the pads with 25 sheets. The experience of writing on the thinner paper just isn’t the same. 😢
Yeah, it's absolutely much thinner in this pocket dashboard notepad. The upside is that it does feel less precious so it's easier to just USE IT if that makes sense. lol

If the notepad was really thick paper it would add too much thickness to the planner to fit so I can see why it’s thinner paper.
