Hi Pierre, Tilaluha is their debut song, despite being a great song (written by Pablo/ previously known as Sejun, and their Producers were Koreans since ShowBT was a Korean company) no one really bat an eye. At that time PPOP was quite new to the Philippines' back around 2018-2019, no one really believed in them, and they really had to do everything by themselves, they had no budget at that time, no proper clothes / costumes, they also did their own makeup despite not being good at it either. All they had was solid training, talent and a dream. As you can see back then, no one was watching their Wishbus performances, it's only when their 2nd single (Go Up) they got discovered since, Go Up's dance practice became viral on Twitter due to a kind Twitter user who had reposted it, and from then on they slowly but surely gain recognition. 🙂
PPOP was existing since the start of Original Pinoy Music. They just streamlined contemporary PPOP. Please do not discredit artists before them. There’s a reason why the Philippines has good taste in music.
@@reymondeje3782 I have no intention of discrediting artists, It's just the focus of my comment was for SB19, don't assume that with just mere of texts you've found in YT. As for your comment on PPOP, you're right that their music is "contemporary". For PPOP (I was actually referring to a term for Filipino idols not the Philippine Pop music or OPM).
To add to that the MV featured Korean actors even though the song was in Tagalog. My favorite live performances are the TM Pusuan love show and the Round Festival. It's since become a fan favorite!
Tilaluha live performance at Round Festival and TM Pusuan are the best ones. You can hear Ken's baritone clearly and Stell's high notes is another level 🔥 😊 This wish bus was during pandemic. Go Up, their 2nd single that make them recognized by the public. It went viral after someone posted the dance practice
Tilaluha doesn’t have a direct translation because it is two actual words that was put together “tila” pertains to rain stopping and “luha” means tear but in this case, “Tilaluha” is Stop Crying. Never mentioned as the full word on the song. Tilaluha is their debut song, Oct. 26, 2018 when it was released. The MV was just made that way since they were previously under a Korean company.
I've always thought that this song should have been released as a lyric video (like ILAW or LIHAM) so that listeners could focus on the fantastic vocals and lyrics 😊
That one during the Round Festival is probably the best version of the song. The boys added a new voice (bass) sang by Ken. The other version that I love is the rehearsal video. Hearing their raw vocals just hits different.
This song was their debut song. When they started, no one really believed in them since PPOP is still new too the Philippines. And look at them now. They have grown. So much.
Tilaluha as how it's used here have two meanings on word TILA - one is "it seems" and the other is "stop" and LUHA is tears. They wrote it as "It SEEMS TEARS...(eg.- It seems tears-are rollong down your cheeks etc...) and the other pag TILA or TUMILA (stop) is usually used for rain (ulan). TUMILA na ang ulan (The rain has stopped).
this comment is the one I find accurately translated the word TILALUHA. The word 'Tila'(Tulad/Gaya/TIla/Parang) has two meaning, one is "Like, It seems like, Similar to", and other one is "Stop".
I think you're the only reactor that I've watched that was not amazed how high Stell sang those notes towards the end hehehe. And you preferred the MV (wherein no SB19 member appeared) more than the live performance. Well, it really depends on a person's preference I respect it. Thanks for this RV.😉😊🩵
thank you very much! A good vocalist for me does not mean he/she can hit high notes ... thats a bonus. A good vocalist touches me emotionally no matter how high or low he/she sings. Only then he/she is a good vocalist for me. These five guys are awesome at what they are doing. They know how to carry emotions and know how to transport them to me. As for the live vs studio - I've been making music myself for over fourty years and for me a good studio version is always the top of the list. Live versions are great because they are something like the "making of" that art piece in real time. I appreciate both, each in their own way. I like performing my songs live.... but hearing a fully produced song of mine is a very profound feeling ... That is what I feel about other artists as well. Live is great but the studio version is a whole different feeling. Its like looking at a wonderful painting and watching the artist paint it.... Both can be awesome but both transport different emotions.
Tilaluha means Stop Crying Tila means Stop and Luha means Tears What you heard was "Pag-tila ng nadarama" is like "to stop the ache that i'm feeling right now" More power po. ❤
My favorite performance of Tilaluha was during their Korean Round festival.. you will hear their vocals more clearly.. OMG.. much watch.. looking forward for more
Hi Pierre, thanks for this RV❤. Tilaluha is SB19s debut song, probably one of my favourite SB19 song. Their wish bus practice video of this where they were sat around a table, a computer and just their voices was one of a must watch, then the Round Festival 2021 live performance and the TM Pusuan live is my absolute favourite. Tilaluha is a a two word mashed up word. Tila means stop and luha means tears . Or simply , Stop Crying. Pablo wrote this song.
Please watch their rendition of this song during the Korea Round Festival... It's got new sound in it... That was i believe their best version of this song.... Thank you.❤ Tilaluha is Stop Crying....
Yes, you're right Pierre, this was recorded 4 yrs ago, their debut single who didn't become popular only after their 2nd single GO UP when they starting to get noticed that the song become a hit..
Hi Pierre today SB19 had live stage and bus performance at the opening of wish bus south Korea today. Hope you could react! Also other artist such as Zephanie, Zack Tebudlo and upcoming artist Esay that sing like KZ Tandingan also performed.
I think this song was 5 years ago because this was their Debut song along with Love Goes. And yeah, they still don't have a fandom by that time. It received a lukewarm response. You see the song was underrated until they were famous was it then appreciated. Please do also check their performance in the Round Festival. Next is HANGGANG SA HULI MV and live on the Wish Bus. Thanks. ❤️🇵🇭
Yup. While TILALUHA is the title of the song, you won't hear the title anywhere being sung in the song. TILALUHA is a symbolism of the message of the song. Most commenters already said that the word TILALUHA is a portmanteau of the words TILA (stop) and LUHA (tears).

Ohh. Nice. An SB19 reaction. Proud Filipino here lmaooo. You can never go wrong when it comes to SB19! Also, have you checked out QWER yet? They're a rookie Korean Idol Band. I've got QWER on my list. I saw like two shorts on YT here and as far as I saw they play instruments which makes them very interesting. I will definitely take a look into them.
This was the time that they borrowed Pablo’s clothes for events, had one foundation make up to share among themselves which was with paler shade than Justin’s skin.

The literal translation is "It Seems Tears or Apparently Tears" which comes from the Tagalog/Filipino word "tila" means "seem/s or apparent/ly" and "luha" means "tears". Overall, "Tilaluha" delves into the complexities of heartbreak and the internal conflict experienced when trying to let go of a love that persists despite its end. It explores the pain, longing, and search for closure that often accompanies the aftermath of a breakup.

Tila luha means stop crying.
