A video of a night out in Chaweng, Koh Samui ending around midnight. A trip to Koh Samui has been long overdue and has been suggested many times by Bkk112 viewers. This was my first ever night out on the island so bear with me as I was still finding my feet...

Additional Comments:
Chaweng is the main nightlife area of Koh Samui so that was where I based myself. This footage was taken towards the end of the high season.
On this visit it was around the time of the 'half moon party' so that accounts for some of the bars not being as busy as normal (so I was told).
Cheap beer? The bars of Koh Samui have relatively cheap beer with many bars having Chang at around 79-100 baht all night and Legends bar is the cheapest at just 49 baht all night long!

Hey BKK112 prob the best Vid on Koh Samui nightlife in ages. TY!!! I stayed at Ark Bar in 2015. It was pretty good but they crank the music on 10 all day and all night. Location was great and room pretty good but service coulda been slightly better. All in all still a good stay. See alot more of Samui on a scooter but they want your passport so they got ya by the balls that way which Im not a fan of. Next time i will maybe checkout Lamai. I was first in Samui in 1994 and man what a change. No shortsge of nightlife and beaches are fantastic and your Vid makes me miss the place. Thx again on superior report!

Samui is the most relaxing and caotic island at the same time that you can see in thailand.

No worries, I like both Samui and Phuket but for different reasons and they are both good in different ways. Samui was a much better trip than I thought it would be, loved all the hotel resorts right on the beach and the island holiday vibe was great. Had perfect weather the whole time I was there too which helped. Thanks for watching :)
Bangkok 112 I watch all your video since the beginning and quite addicted to your talent guy. I love Samui than Phuket, chaweng beach is wonderful and the night life is lightly than Phuket or Pattaya but you can find good vibes as you said yeah :)

Thanks for this look back on the way it used to be on Soi Green Mango. All I know of the area is what I can see on the fixed webcams and there is not much going on. Hush bar has been the only place that I can see making a comeback, but I think they got their hands slapped for staying open late. Anyway, my hope are that the area can come back to the way it was in 2018 Thanks

Going back in less than a month. There is only 1 gay bar on soi solo but jimmy hendrix which is down there is amazing always open until 6-7am and last time i was there a new place had just opened up at the very end of the soi. Surprised to see cubos has opened back up, that was always the go to when green mango and hush bar shut but it had closed last time i was there.

5000 baht was what I paid each way which is around the standard price for direct flights to Samui. It's cheaper if you fly to Surat Thani and take the ferry but I wanted to keep it simple on this trip. Thanks for watching.

If a person is going to visit we need to know about good restaurants , not just bars .
Also need to see inside massage places , let us also know what the ladies are like , maybe how they compare to other places you've visited

I was there in 2013. When snorkeling at Chaweng beach it was very clean. Then i got in front of the ARK and the ocean was full of trash. It makes me so mad that tourists throw trash in the ocean.

Yes, plenty of shisha was around especially at Hush, Green Mango and Stadium club...
